Lovely and peaceful place and the staff was so helpful and friendly. Food was amazing, dinner and breakfast, and dogs were very welcomed which is always nice! Would recommend if you’re looking for a quiet and special atmosphere. The rooms were also really nice and modern but at the same time their old fashioned vibe was kept well. Would love to come back!

Quietly tucked away in the woods, this beautiful hotel&restaurant emerges. We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms are clean and well equipped. Beds are so amazing we are considering ordering the same size for at home. We have a daughter with special needs that arent directly visible. When telling the staff, they have been very supporting. They went out of their way to arrange food specifically for her. It almost impossible to describe how well we felt at home here. Thank you! We will definitely visit again!

Well it's not often that I can find nothing wrong with a hotel but this is true here. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms are big and well decorated. the shower is wonderful. And the food is to die for. Wine is directed towards German Reisling but the selection is excellent and I like it very much. The staff are perfect and most speak good English. Dogs are accepted and a dog bed is provided in the room. Perfect woodland walks surround the hotel. I wish we had been here in summer because there is lovely terrace where you can eat and drink. I strongly 💪♥️ recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed.

Do no book this hotel. We booked it and there was an accident on the motorway so we had to cancel as there was no way we could get to the hotel. Cancellation was made within 20 min of booking the hotel still charges us full price for 2no rooms even though they knew we would not be arriving. The booking was made via booking.com with clear terms that payment would be made at the hotel and that can be cancelled.

Really nice located. We stopped by after a long walk through the forest. We hoped for some waffles or tasty dishes. But very limited choice of dishes and 7€ a bottle water...really?! First time in my life that the cake was cheaper than the water.

It’s not easy to find a decent hotel in Kassel. This one stands out for its marvelous location in the middle of a magnificent forest. The service of this family-owned and operated small hotel is very friendly and excellent, great food from own production. Breakfast and meals are served on request in the room without charge with generous quantities. ||||The room was very spacious. The bath room was ok. The location is very quiet and perfect for taking some days off.||||I went there on a business trip. The working space in the rooms is fine and well equipped. The only weak point: the internet, which is free of charge, is quite slow. You need a car, since the hotel is far from the town center.
