We travelled with our parents to Bhutan via Thunder Dragon tours for 7 days in last week of November 2024. This was a first trip to bhutan for the 6 of us . We covered thimpu, punakha, paro and phuentsholing during our trip. Bhutan is a very beautiful, peaceful,spiritual, clean and welcoming country. The people of bhutan are very friendly. The trip was splendid and delightful. We were happy with the service and support provided by thunder dragon tour team during planning process like finalizing the itinerary, booking flights, hotels and during the trip by our guide Mr. Sangey and our driver Mr. Pemba who were and excellent combination for our group. As senior citizens were travelling with us the team took care of their needs and our needs as well.Food , accomodation, places to visit was planned with keeping in mind the various needs of all the members of the group. Everyone enjoyed the trip to the fullest. I would highly recommend choosing Thunder Dragon Tours for your next trip to Bhutan.

Our trip to Bhutan was an amazing one. Mr. Tshering and Mr. Sangay were one of the best people we have interacted with. The support we received from them both before and during the trip was very warm, dependable and co-operative. My parents are senior citizens and they both made sure on each day of our travel to make the journey as comfortable and smooth as possible for both of them. We covered the following places during our travel - Thimphu, Punakha, Phobjikha and Paro. The people of Bhutan are very sweet, warm and happy. The country is very beautiful and I would recommend a trip to this place at least once. The service arrangements and hotel stays were nothing less than any 4 stars. I would recommend to plan your trip with Thunder Dragons and be rest assured that they will take care of everything for you, especially if you are travelling with senior citizens.

Bhutan has a lot to offer to a traveller who wants to enjoy moments of peace amidst nature just to unwind and reflect on life. The bright prayer flags flying in the mountain breeze, the silent walks in the nature trails, the chiming of the bells with the spin of the prayer wheels, the ripples on the streams flowing in their own pace and the fragrance of the incense in the monasteries brought forth a deep sense of peace that resonates with this culturally rich country. Heartfelt thanks to the team of Thunder Dragon , especially Mr. Biswaroop Mukherjee, for making this trip a feast for our senses with his expertise in planning and organizing. Thanks to Mr. Tshering for ensuring comfortable stays and enlivening our journey from one destination to the other with his sense of humor. Finally , a thumbs up for our guide Nidup who was warm and gracious and shared stories of the deep rooted Buddhist traditions of their land where people live in harmony and believe in fate and prophecies. The Thunder Dragon tour and travel group arranged an amazing tour for me and my friend for 9 days in Bhutan. We covered 3 places majorly which were Thimphu, Punakha and Paro. The booking process was very seamless. Mr Biswa answered all our queries related to the trip. He checked upon if we are prepared for the trip and shared all necessary information in terms of what to pack, detailed itinerary day wise and contact details of our pick up at Bagdogra airport, guide and driver in Bhutan. From the day of arrival till our last day, we were accompanied by our guide and driver Mr Sangay and Mr Tshering. We couldn’t have asked for a better company. They shared historic details of Bhutan and importance of each location we went to. They both were very caring and supportive throughout the journey which made our journey very comfortable. The entire vacation was so relaxed because of them. The arrangements made during the trip was of very high standards. They both were available beyond tour hours in case we needed any help. I would highly recommend the travel group and our guides in Bhutan if anyone plans to visit the country. We truly experienced the saying that Bhutan people are the happiest. I wish to bring my family to the country with the same travel group. The amount paid for the tour can nowhere match the services and the experiences we had during our stay in Bhutan. It is one of the best trips i have ever had.

I found Thunder Dragon Tours from reddit and contacted them via their social media. They were very responsive and worked with us to customize our trip. It was a group of six people with varied interests, and with Tshering's advice we came up with an itinerary that would be enjoyable for all of us. Thanks to Tshering for the advice and help with this.

Even before we landed in Bhutan, we got a thorough checklist from Thunder Dragon Tours. They were available by messages (and even the occasional call) whenever we had any questions.

We received excellent personalized care and attention from the moment we landed in Bhutan. Every hotel we stayed at was awesome. The rooms were hand picked by Tshering for the best views. Tshering was always on standby in case we needed anything - he asked us to call him if anything comes up even after they dropped us off at our hotel each night - and he was available when we did need him.

We spent two nights in Thimphu, one night in Punaka, and two nights in Paro. We saw several beautiful Dzhongs, Monasteries, ate at great restaurants, and took in amazing views around the way. Sangay also let me do a downhill treck on the Trans-Bhutan trail (which was not included in our package), and was of immense help during the daunting hike to Tiger's Nest. Our tour guide Sangay kept us engaged with insights and history of each place we visited.

Overall, I am glad that we found Thunder Dragon Tours, and I cannot recommend them more if you are planning a trip to Bhutan.

Our trip to Bhutan with Thunder Dragon was nothing short of extraordinary. We had a 9days trip which included Thimpu, Paro, Punakha,Pobjhika and Bumthang. As a hiker and Nature lover, I was captivated by the landscapes,serene monasteries,beautiful cliffs and lush valleys alive with the sound of nature. What truly set this journey apart was the guide provided by Thunder Dragon. His deep knowledge of Bhutan's culture, flora, fauna combined with his warm hospitality made every moment enriching and memorable. The accomodation, car, curated itenary was excellent. Thunder dragons keep up the good work.
