Wir hatten das Shilo Inn kurzfristig über Priceline gebucht. Für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel hätten wir jedoch mehr erwartet. Denn leider wirkten die Zimmer alt, und der Teppichboden in unserem Zimmer und die Teppiche auf den Fluren waren fleckig.||Ansonsten war die Anlage insgesamt sehr schön und großzügig. Wir hatten eine riesige Suite mit einem Queen Bed, Full Kitchen, Fireplace und Balkon mit Blick auf den Garten. Es gibt einen Außen- und einen Innenpool, zwei Spas und eine Sauna, was wir aus Zeitgründen jedoch alles nicht genutzt haben.||Wir hatten für zwei Nächte gebucht aber die Coupons für das Frühstückbüffet für den zweiten Tag mussten wir uns noch mal neu an der Rezeption holen.||Für das Shilo Restaurant bekamen wir einen Discount Coupon über 10%, dazu gab es ein Glas Hauswein kostenlos. Das Essen war gut, aber ein Gericht wurde falsch abgerechnet.||Das Hot Breakfast Buffet war gut. Es gab Rührei, Bacon, kleine Kartoffeln, Cereals, Muffins, Bagels, frischen Obstsalat, usw.

This room was disgustingly filthy! I took pictures to show the front desk, and all that was said is, "Yeah, we've been having trouble with our housekeeping staff." They moved us to another room, which was cleaner but no coffee, proper amount of towels and no cups. It's a beautiful hotel which needs attention to both the staff and upkeep of the property. I figure if I didn't say anything, no one would know it has issues. Sorry.

Booked this hotel for labor day weekend. The pictures looked great! The first room was filthy. Moved to another room was still filthy but smelled better. The motel is in need is serious TLC. The carpets are very old and stained. Cobwebs everywhere. mirrors have not been cleaned in a while. Gross! More gross is the pubic hair in the tub. There was food left in the refrigerator. Stayed 2 days and had 2 towels. Decaffeinated coffee no creamers or anything. Front desk graciously gave me some. Will never stay there again.

It has potential but is so outdated and disgusting it's not worth it.
We get here, check in was quick and easy. Except they gave us the wrong room. We need a pull out couch and this room was small with two queens. Had two phones and neither worked.
So we went back to the office, got another room. This room was not clean. Trash everywhere, might have had the couch but we didn't even bother to go in.
We went back to the office and finally got the right room. The shower curtains are moldy, there are two towels and one wash cloth for 5 people, its gross, no pillows or bedding for the couch, two pillows per bed, just dusty and moldy and gross.
We decided to go to the indoor pool and check the hot tubs, they were cold, same temp as the pool, pool towels were the smallest things ever. We go back to the room and the toilet is over flowing so we had to go back to the office and get a plunger to hopefully fix it. All of our allergies acted up due to the mold.

This place really has potential, great location the rooms could be cute with the detailed mirrors and windows but it's just in terrible shape. Don't even risk it.

While this hotel is dated it has the potential to offer a pleasant stay. We arrived about 15 minutes after the check in time, and the place was deserted. It took 5 minutes for anyone to show up at the counter. There was no bell, or call button, so just had time to wait around.
The room we were assigned was in the first floor I noticed when we pulled up. Hoping we might change to an upper floor in order to have a balcony I went back to the front desk and they claimed they were full up and couldn’t change our room assignment. Now I know most hotels generally assign rooms by type then as guest arrive. There should have been no reason we couldn’t have been assigned an upper room. Looking at the parking later that night I’d say they were at 10% capacity at best.

Inside the room we were assigned it was very dated but not terrible. Unfortunately there was no chair in the room, and no chairs on the patio, when it looked like most of the other rooms had two chairs on their balcony or patio. When I asked about getting some chairs the clerks response was he couldn’t leave the front desk, and he might be able to see if a maintenance person could check on that. Nothing ever happened there.

The room seemed clean, but the ac unit is incredibly loud and made it hard to sleep.

Not helpful or understanding or friendly staff. Just that alone could have made for a decent stay!

The bad someone else's hair was still in the shower on multiple surfaces and on the toilet, the picture on the TV was not good, can hear every movement of the upstairs guest, the hotel conditioner provided was half empty probably already used, tissue box was empty near the sink. The good, parking was ample, AC and heat worked I needed both, two irons in room in case I needed to a lot of ironing. I did no ironing. Front desk staff was pleasant but they did mess up the keys to one of our rooms two days in a row.

Room and property in general needs some serious updates, cleaning and maintenance... Indoor pool had no towels but the pool was a nice temperature, only one hot tub was hot when I got there. The outdoor pool appear to be closed for the season but the ducks didn't mind. One thing I will say is the beds and pillows were very comfortable. 🙂

It's so sad to see this location being mismanaged. It's an ideal location in Bend! A little renovation and some better staff, and this place would shine! We were here for 5 nights (Sun-Fri) for a conference. Checked in and were given a run down on how broke the motel is, staff are going to get fired, night staff are drug addicts, they're in competition with riverhouse etc. Super unprofessional and inappropriate.

Our room could have been awesome! We had a giant tub and fireplace. But this place is broke and it's obvious. We were left with four squares of tp and the new roll sitting on the counter. Two sinks and we were given ONE hand towel and ONE soap! Two towels for 2 people staying 5 nights with a giant tub! Could have at least given us 4 towels! We had to go get more towels several times because our room was never cleaned the entire week!

The toilet was running when we came in and the heat was set to 78! Yikes! That's way too warm and what a waste of electricity.

My poor husband had to trapse all over the property trying to find an ice machine that works because putting a sign on all of them saying the ONLY working ice machine is in building two on the SECOND FLOOR, is too much to ask. He literally hit every building and ended up at the office and then had to go back to building 2.

My husband's card stopped working Monday. Awesome since we weren't together and he had to go up and get a new one. For some reason they only had him down for one night. Weird.

We had NO coffee maker. Odd. Asked for one Monday (we had check in on Sunday) and were told we'd get one on Tuesday as they didn't have any staff to deliver one. Didn't come Tuesday.

Wednesday my card stopped working so another trip to the office where I again asked for the coffee maker. Finally got it delivered to our room with ONE coffee mug. WTH?

One of the jets is broken in the tub. Not a huge deal but still...

The toilet runs at random through out the day and night. We had to get more tp from the office because no one ever came to restock us or clean our room.

And for two people staying, we had ONE glass for the week - no plastic cups either. So again, another trip to the office.

This location on the river is gorgeous. But sadly, this isn't where I'd stay ever again. It's sad and neglected.
