Clean, on the beach… I was in room 2112 for a Monday-Saturday stay (Sommer 2024). A great place to hang out, much space on the beach to stretch out on. And plenty of those big basket things to rent where one can sit in… though I really don’t understand that.

Back in the room, if one stepped out onto the small balcony, the Baltic was visible to the left.

Probably still is… 😎

I had a bike with me. There’s a secure “corral” to store it in, but it took me a minute to find it the first time.

The steakhouse that’s a part of the hotel was good. A separate review for that one… But 👍🏻👍🏻

The seemingly unlimited breakfast offerings were, well, unlimited. The resturaunt and the attached bar were pretty sterile from a stylistic pov. Generally exclusively German offerings for wine, but for a red, try the Meilenstein. Dry, strong… very good imho.

The immediate area offers other more homey/rustic/inviting places to have a meal. But the quality at the hotel restaurants was generally good.

Despite being on the beach, there was no availability of beach blankets/towels, though of course they’d be happy to sell you something out of the gift shop. That seems like something that should change.

Eine von die Tage, der Zimmer war nicht geräumt. Someone else was standing right behind me with the same complaint. The front desk was apologetic, offered towels right then, and everything was of course ok the next day, so no major problem.

Watch out for the beach tax… they hit me up for €16.50 for the stay. But then charged me for it after the stay. Go figure. Strangely enough, I was never asked for the proof of it by “the authorities”, but like traveling the S or U-Bahn ohne Fahrkarte, es ist immer eine Risiko.

Ok… so dass ist dass. Net, bequem, vielleicht ein bisschen zu Zauber, wenn Mann wißt was ich meine…

Really lovely hotel! The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the shower is amazing. every room comes with small sauna (!!) and a big balcony (we had a bit of a view to the sea). There’s more saunas in the spa area downstairs, and I was surprised how big and nice was the swimming pool. It so great to swim there after a walk on the beach.
The breakfast was delicious. Also- they have a very nice Italian restaurant inside the hotel, with nice food and very reasonable prices. I would also recommend the bar- the service was super friendly, with big range of nice (and not expensive!) cocktails.
Great hotel, and great value for money. Very much recommend!

We moved here from other Seetelhotel in searches of better room and seaview. Don’t book on booking, book in the hotel itself so that you see the room you are taking before you pay. They had “side sea-view” which turned out to be facing some construction site. To see the narrow band of the sea from it you have to get on the balcony and bend out. So we chose our corner front sea view room in person. I like it more than suit, as it looks bigger, have a big balcony and 270° view.|Positives: big restaurant, nice towels, good beds, nice view, fresh squeezed juices at the breakfast. Hard to find, I would not ever go so far around the corner but they exist if you search:). Reception staff is very friendly and speak good English, at least some of them.|Negatives: There is no outdoor eating terrace for healthy people. It’s annoying to always it inside when you like and value fresh air and sea view. There are always some smokers. You come on the terrace with your breakfast and if only one smoker sits around, your nice fresh air is all spoiled. I would forbid smoking in restaurants completely, to please couple of people with bad habits you, hotels, turn away plenty of healthy lifestyle people.|Suggestions for the room: the trash can in the bathroom is not conveniently hidden inside the drawer, I need it more often in the toilet! Ask any lady and she will tell you why. Breakfast is 21€ and it does not worth the candle if you are vegan or raw vegan. There are some fruits but not sweet or ripe enough, and not enough fresh vegetables. Espresso is not tasty. But they have almond milk, that’s good. No kettle or espresso machine in the room. The carpet on the floor is dirty as well as balcony railing. Glass balcony would be better (some rooms have glass, some are metal, choose glass for view.)|If you like to sit on the balcony you will be also most likely annoyed by smokers as you feel them even at a distance, hotel should separate them in other building or forbid smoking completely. I would also recommend hire English people for cafe/restaurants. ||There are nice wood trails to walk or bike not far from the hotel. You can walk left far away along the beach and return through the woods.

How this graded as a 4* beats me. Its ok but it boring and badly planned. The pool is in the basement under the carpark with no view or charm, the restaurants use the cheapest furniture and the food is dull and lacking any imagination (maybe that's the norm in that area). The light on the balcony can't be controlled by the guest so you're illuminated half the night. I could go on and on. I didn't like it, its soulless like a modern office building

Location amazing, 4 stars because of reception work in different building. Tiny places in garage. Everyrhing else is good

It is in a good place. It's only to minutes away from the baltic sea, means you can see the water from your room ifla you stay there.
