We stayed a night over in our camper van whilst travelling through Europe with child and dog. Clean facilities, and staff was friendly. There is a nice lake and beaches to swim in, even a dog specific beach.

There are many facilities on site(power/water/drains), camping toilets are modern, clean, and well presented. This is a place where I wished I brought the bicycles with.

I'm removing one star because it looks like the camping spots are more of an afterthought than a feature. There isn't any shade in these spots, and it's all gravel based. Would be nice to have grass with tracks for campers to rest on instead. So unless you have your own awnings or tents to provide cover, it might be uncomfortable during peak summer. We came during the heatwave so we felt it, as we travelled light with only small awning, in a vintage camper without air conditioning.

We stayed here for 3 nights as we were attending a family wedding in the area. We arrived at 8.30pm and checked in, we checked what time restaurant was opened till which was 10.00pm, we left out bags to our room and returned to restaurant at 9.00pm only to be told that the restaurant finishes taking orders at 9.00pm so we could not get anything to eat in the hotel, The receptionist did book a table at a restaurant in the nearest town and a taxi to get there the cost of the taxi was €22 to travel 8km and €22 back to hotel.it was a pity the hotel did not make an exception as we just arrived after travelling from Ireland and it was just 9.00pm when we were in the restaurant.Our Hotel room was spacious but basic but had a modern bathroom with good shower, the room had a nice view of the lake, there was no tea/coffee facilities in the room and when we enquired about this we were told that only the deluxe rooms had these facilities, I would expect tea/coffee facilities in all rooms in a 4 star hotel. The breakfast was adequate. Personally I would not stay here again if I was visiting this area as the resort is very quiet which may suit some people.

Jewel of the region. Great view from the terrace of cafe restaurant, from which you can also see kids playing in nearby Spielplatz. Additional cozy cafe in the shades. Sandy beach with barbecue spot and volleyball on sand. Also small stand with drinks and fast food right on the beach. Big and beautiful lake surrounded with the forest.

We were very disappointed with our stay at See Und Waldresort Groebern.
We are a French couple, we had to return to France (by several different trains) the day after our night spent in this hotel.
We had previously emailed the hotel several weeks in advance explaining that we would need a taxi to take us from the hotel to the train station the next morning.
The hotel had assured us of the possibility of a pick-up by a local taxi.
The evening of our arrival we again specified that we would need a taxi and we were assured that a taxi would be called and would pick us up in the morning.
We were also told that if a taxi couldn't take us then a member of staff would take us to the train station.
The famous morning when I go down to the reception I am told that there is no taxi and that the boss of the hotel has given the order that no member of staff takes the "responsibility" of taking us by car.
This boss, extremely unpleasant, did not deign to express himself in English with me and only told me "I am not a taxi"
So we had to run for 45 minutes and 5km to successfully catch our first train.
We are therefore very unhappy with this experience and want to attract the attention of future customers.

Great place for rest with lake views. The houses are really comfortable, clean and are prepared for cooking your meals. You can go swimming if you feel like. Definitely a place to come back again.
