We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. On the way to south padre and one on the return. Austii was so nice and she helped us get done what was needed. Any question, answered. Needed a blanket? Got it. For? Got it. Treated like family and such a really pleasant stay. Thank you Austii for all your help and hopefully they give you a huge raise for all the work you do.

Really no issues. Clean room. Nice facilities. Friendly staff. No issues.

BUT, I'd call out that I think I'm gonna stop staying at RI's. The TV platform isn't good, TV controller, etc... but at the other Marriott brands there is streaming available and smart TVs...

Robby checked us in! The hotel was having internet issues, other guest were calling frustrated and had a few guest needing to check in. Robby handled a stressful situation very professionally and with a smile! The rest of the staff has also been super awesome!

I’ve been here for several months at this point for work, and the staff has been nothing but nice. Helpful when I asked to change rooms, even moved my luggage for me because I had to go to work before my new room was ready. Rooms are always clean. 10/10 recommend staying here.

I was put off by reviews saying the facility needs updating, but it was the perfect home away from home. Not new, but very comfortable, clean, and a wonderful deal. The staff was friendly and extremely attentive, literally from the moment I walked in the door. They went above and beyond -- everything from worrying about my late arrival to finding a cherished earring that had fallen under the couch. Very reasonable rates for a suite that was bigger than some apartments I've lived in. Kitchen was modern and fully stocked. Parking plentiful. There were kids playing on the basketball court and in the pool. If there was ever a problem, such as a burnt-out light bulb, it was taken care of immediately. I will definitely stay again; it was a wonderful place to stay for my eight days in the Austin area.

Avoid, avoid, avoid!! My family and I checked in last night. The room reeked. The best way to describe it is a smell of rotten sweet and sour chicken. There were also stains on the floor, couch, and chairs. The room was in such poor condition. My pregnant wife was so nauseous from the smell, so there was no way to just lay our heads down and get through the night. I went down to the lobby and asked if we could get a refund because of the condition of the room. This was my one good experience. The lady working the front desk was very kind. She said because we booked with travel points, she couldn't personally issue the refund right then. She told us to go through our credit card company to ask for a refund and they would gladly refund us. She then recommended another hotel in town, which we stayed at (another Marriott, so they still got our business). By the time we got settled in the new hotel and got our kids down to sleep it was really late. I called our credit card company today to ask for the refund. The hotel repeatedly denied our refund request because on their end it shows that we stayed the night and checked out today (I guess the person who checked us out never clicked a button or left a note about our unpleasant room). We even called the hotel to get the name of the woman who worked last night. We were given a name and provided it. We also provided documentation that we booked another room late last night somewhere else. We were again denied a refund because we gave the wrong name and their records show that person didn't work then? Okay, we were just repeating the name we were originally given. We were not at that hotel more than 30 minutes and they're treating us like liars and refusing to give us a refund. All they have to do is walk up to that room and 1. smell it and 2. see it's very obvious no one stayed the night. Avoid this place!! We are now out $200+ when we were promised a refund.

We were refunded today. We called again and they said they had refunded this morning. Thank you!!

My family and I stayed at this hotel April- June around 13-14 days each month for work. The employees and housekeeping were amazing and very nice, however the hotel is lacking in ensuring the safety and security of guests and their property. My vehicle along with 4 other guests were vandalized in the parking lot of the hotel on 6/13/24. My driver side window was cracked and it ended up costing me $1180 to replace. All I got was a sorry about your bad luck from the hotel management. No cameras on the exterior of the building. Apparently this is not an isolated incident and this happens quite a bit at this hotel so think twice before staying here.

I have stayed in other Marriott Residence Inns and had much better experiences in them than I did in the MRI in Round Rock, TX. The facility is somewhat old, but that was not the problem. First of all, the breakfast consisted of packaged sweet rolls and not much else. Apparently, this was because of a problem with their kitchen, but the staff never fully explained the situation. Neither did they offer a discount because of the substandard breakfasts. Second, there was a mix-up with my online reservation, and somehow I had reserved two rooms instead of just one. The check-in clerk cancelled the extra reservation and told me I wouldn't be charged. When I reviewed my credit card statement more than a week later, I found that I had been charged anyway. I called the MRI in Austin and talked to Leticia. She was rude, did not listen to me, gave me misinformation, and never solved the problem. This is not the kind of treatment I expect from Marriott, and I will be hesitant to stay in another Marriott Residence Inn again.
