Incredibly dated.. Elevator is quite sketchy. Room has no outlets near the bed, no minifridge and the tv isn’t placed ahead of the bed even though there’s space. I guess you get what you pay for. At least the staff members are nice people.

The hotel was great. Staff were wonderful and extremely professional. The breakfast was always top-notch. When we return to Bottrop it will be top of list to stay.

You get what you pay for.

Hotel is OK for a night, location not great with traffic running just past the hotel starting early morning.

Rooms are dated, beds bordering on uncomfortable.

Breakfast, simple, a bit on the pricey side, but fresh.

Very nice hotel, staff is very kind and helpfull. Breakfast is extensive and fresh. Location is easy to find. We were going to Movie Park for 2 days, close to the hotel about 20 minutes drive.

The only minus was that it was very hot and stuffy in the room, there is no air conditioning.

Stayed in this hotel during the Euros as we were going to a game at Schalke's ground and it was the closest hotel we could find with any vacancy. It was quite a journey from here to Gelsenkirchen so I wouldn't advise staying here for football unless you have no choice. Bottrop is a seriously depressing place and we couldn't wait to get out of there. The hotel was dated and unappealing though we did find the staff to be helpful and pleasant. They're doing their best in a pretty grim environment. I'd avoid staying here unless you have business in Bottrop and just need a bed for the night

Lovely hotel, friendly efficient staff. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Breakfast is very good. WIFI in room was great. Location good for the town, bus station etc||Train station is further about 1.7km. Lots of places to eat. Very nice waffles & crepes. The Ratshanke is good for food also.
