We attended for an afternoon tea and the staff could not have been more accommodating. We mentioned it was for a special birthday and they brought a dessert slate out with a written message. Couldn't do enough for us, especially Lorraine. Fantastic team in restaurant!

Visited this hotel for the Festive Lunch through the RAD Group offers. What a lovely hotel….and a lovely lunch. Food was delicious with generous portions. Service was a bit mixed with 2/3 members of staff involved. I’ve taken a point off for the girl who asked if we would like desserts and tea/coffee. Yes to both, and promptly proceeded to bring both at the same time! Really, who wants their tea/coffee served at the same time as dessert Anyway asked the waiter to take it back until I had finished my dessert which was duly done. Apart from that we had a lovely time and would return in the future. Lovely festive decorations around the hotel. Impressive.

I was here for business this morning and was quite hungry. |I required a table in the Opal Lounge to use my laptop with plug, but as I was lower down the free WiFi didn’t work. No big deal. ||I ordered the Eggs Benedict which was lovely. I like my fat crispy but forgot to ask for it that way. TBH the bacon was lovely. The portion was amazing, hats off to the chef. ||Only downside there was that there were only 2 people on and customers kept coming in asking for teas and coffees which take time to make. As well as food customers. Oh and the WiFi not working on that level. ||The waiter and waitress were doing their best to serve everyone and were very polite and professional.

I was hired to perform Caricatures at a wedding on Saturday night and the place was stunning. Lovely grounds and plenty of parking close to the main reception. I arrived as the main meal was finishing and the food smelled awesome. The staff were attentive and friendly at the bar and I had got set up in the lounge area which had nice comfy seats.
Al in all a lovely venue for a wedding and I would definitely recommend.

There is truly nothing I can fault this hotel about. My room was just right and the bed was the height of comfort. The food was plentiful and of a high quality. However, the best thing for me was the staff. They all worked very hard, were professional and everything was done with a smile. A huge well done and thank you from me!

Stayed overnight for a tribute party night and the whole experience was very good, and would definitely recommend.|Arrival and check in was very quick and our room was well furnished, only a few minor issues being shower was very hit and miss with the temperature and we could not get the bath tap to work, also the towel rail did not work in the bathroom, these were reported to the two maintenance workers that came to our room regarding some flooding, not sure if these have now been fixed after we left.|The tribute night was excellent, Men of Motown and the three course meal which is included was served hot and was very good. Great party night atmosphere.|Breakfast in the morning was again excellent with a good selection to choose from and served by good staff who were always attentive.|Also worth noting the hotel interior was very nice and clean throughout.|Will return again and would highly recommend the tribute nights.

Twenty one of us plus 4 children had a fantastic celebration on Saturday 14th December. Having planned Mum's 90th birthday celebrations with the helpful staff, every one of our requirements was met to the letter. Food was delicious and service from Abbie and Callum was outstanding. I've not stayed here, so the rooms I'll get to later but if they are as good as the rest it'll be fine.

This hotel is proper tucked away, I just popped by for a swifty drink on my way passed.

And I've been back four times now with Wiffy for food and drinks. Service is pretty good. The food is spot on for the prices .
It appears to be as equally prepared for couples and corporate guests.
The menu is constantly changing, and they hold a very wide range of special deals and seasonal events/entertainment .
You'll also be among an eclectic clientele from work wear, suits, bests, and weddings. It's all good you'll enjoy it.
