The hotel exceeded out expectations. The room was well appointed. The bathroom was a great size and shower powerful. Signs of previous water damage on the ceiling. Bed was very comfortable. A kettle and a fan supplied though bring your own cups and coffee etc.|The carpets were stained in places as were the walls and generally place could do with a small upgrade. This in no way has put me off and I would stay here and recommend it unreservedly. Staff were friendly. Didn’t try the breakfast.|When you get there take lift to 7 th floor as this is where the reception is. |A fantastic location right next to shopping areas. The windows were good enough that there was no problem with noise outside with the windows closed.|Area is quiet at night with not a lot late bars etc.|You’re right at the underground so travelling is easy.|Great value for money

This hotel is in a great location close to quite a few restaurants and metro station and bus stops. There is also a parking garage (20 euros a night) not too far from the hotel. It is a bit odd to enter the hotel. The elevator takes you to reception (at the top of the building) then you have to take a separate elevator from reception to the floor your room is on. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bar has a lovely rooftop area to sit at.

Location, location, location! (as the expression goes!). I found this hotel to be conveniently located in the Charlottenburg district of Berlin - a short walk from the train station. A variety of good restaurants are close-by, as well as shopping. ||The accommodations and service from the staff were excellent during my 2-night stay - and the breakfast is superb (available at an additional cost at check-in.) The restaurant is located on the reception floor (7th) and the outdoor patio offers some nice views of the city. The room was clean and bright, small (by North American standards) but comfortable.

Booked an hotel in a new area for me. Wilmersdorfer strasse in Charlottenburg. Lots of interesting restaurants and shops within walking distance.|Liked the hotel room! Not super modern style in white and black but more classical style. Overall (with one exception) nice and helpful staff at reception.|U bahn station outside the door.||Didnt like the lift system. You need every time to take a lift up to 7th floor reception and then down again to your room. No problem just now with probably a 20 percent occupancy but in better times?|Also due to low occupancy we did ask after a five nights stay to have our room for an extra 2.5 hours at check out but were only allowed one.

Very poor service. No restaurant in the evenings and staff on duty would not serve at the bar for some strange reason, even though there were 2 staff members present, both of whom were not busy with other tasks at all. Not impressed at all. Apart from the lady serving at breakfast time, other staff were quite rude and very unhelpful.

Fantastic location right in the heart of the shopping district ! Excellent for transport links with a bus stop right outside the entrance which would take you to all the highlights of the city ! Plenty of food options right on your door stop including McDonald’s and Burger King ! Clean bright hotel with good facilities and pleasant staff . Breakfast is available but we didn’t try it as we thought it was quite expensive at around 17 euros each . Plent of coffee shops within walking distance offering better value for money . We would definitely stay here again

It's a weekend visit to Berlin and it's our first visit to Germany.||Pros: Staff are brilliant and very helpful. Well located and easily accessible via metro or subway. ||They also offered a free complimentary breakfast which is very nice and kind of them.||Cons:||Very worn out and outdated hotel. |Didn't get my head around the two separate elevators although I was told it was due to security.|The beds and the duvets are a small. Didn't find the accessories are of a 4 star quality and can find lot of dust in the rooms.||Definitely not 4 star standards.|
