It's been months since we stayed here, and it still sticks in my mind as the single worst experience I've ever had at a motel. When we arrived I was directed by the front desk clerk to park my RV in an area roped off for construction. I was told it was fine because it was the weekend and we'd be leaving in the morning. They charge a $60 cash deposit (money laundering or tax evasion?) The rooms were the worst I've seen in a Motel 6, or any motel, with dingy floors and walls and an uncleaned bathroom. Sometimes after we went to sleep a belligerent employee banged on our door. When I opened it the angry gnome started yelling at me about the RV. I tried to explain that I was happy to move it, but that I was told to park there by the day shift front desk clerk, but he kept interrupting me to shout about how the owner was on the phone and he was going to call the police. When he had worn himself out he left, and I moved my RV out to a spot on the street nearby. When I returned he was still wandering the property, so I asked him who he was as he wore no name tag on his filthy Motel 6 polo shirt. He asked why, did I think I was going to complain to someone, so I said yes. He told me to look up the manager's number online. I did, and I left a voicemail. In the morning at checkout we got a chilly reception, and I was told my deposit wouldn't be returned, no reason given. When I asked to speak with the manager she came out yelling at us to get off the property. She told me to call the cops if I wanted my deposit back. We left at that point. I tried contacting the GM directly as well as contacting Motel 6 corporate, but nothing came of any of it. Frankly, I'm shocked to find them still doing business under the Motel 6 name. I'd like to be clear, of all the Motel 6's I've stayed in this was by far the worst, and the only one I've ever posted a bad review about. Usually they are stellar.

Traveled with my boyfriend coming from Michigan and we got in and went to the service desk and instantly were greeted by the nice front desk woman, as she checked us in we had a few minutes of nice conversation. Her name was Lea. She was friendly and helpful!! Once we got to our room we settled in for the night. It was a decent stay and really helped having such a welcoming atmosphere by Lea at the front desk.

Upon arriving at the motel, I found the rooms to be in a deplorable state. Specifically:
The floors were visibly dirty and had not been cleaned.
The bathroom was in poor condition. No toilet paper and it appeared it had been used and not cleaned.
Dirty towels.
Bed spreads in bad condition.
I can go on.

We requested both "non-smoking" rooms and they both smelled like if they had just finished smoking in them.

The condition of the rooms and the unhelpful attitude of the staff (guy with long braided hair) were unacceptable and did not meet the standards.

When I went back to the front lobby, there was noone there so we had to wait a while for someone to come up to the window. By the time he came to the window, I expressed my concerns, but the employee responded with indifference and a dismissive attitude, failing to address the situation or offer any resolution (not a single word came out from him). He listened and went to grab the papers were he saved our $120 cash deposit and had it off to me without saying a word.

The pictures were taken as soon as we entered the rooms. The rooms are definitely not what they advertised on the web.

By far the worst hotel and customer service ever!

Never have I booked a hotel that catfished as hard as this one. We were looking for a reasonable 1 night place as we were just passing through and booked this one online. When we arrived the place looked sketchy asf but figured it's just 1 night. Well upon trying to check in we were told they were overbooked because half their rooms were being remodeled and we were sol on accommodations. The front guy just shrugged his shoulders and said sorry. Mind you it was 1030pm so we then had to sit in the parking lot for 20 min trying to find somewhere else to stay. My other half then told me about the cash only deposit posting behind the bullet proof glass and I just shook my head. Thankfully we found something far better but this place has made me never trust a motels website ever again.

They will find any excuse to keep the CASH deposit.

*$60 in cash per room (i believe).

The room was very basic: no mini fridge and to use a microwave you either have to go to the office building or the microwave outside in a cage (not locked) near the staircase * I had frozen foods & perishables in prep for my stay

Long story short, she refused to give me the deposit because I left the room before checkout and didn't personally and officially "check out" [4 am]. so "she had no idea what conditions the room was left it" when I came back at about 2 pm to reclaim the deposit (nothing trashed or stained to their room property).

I've done this with several places (leaving the room key(s) on the table), and this is the only place claiming they couldn't verify room conditions... keeping the deposit.

Honestly, this is lawsuit worthy and pretty sure they are scamming ppl every way they can out of returning the deposit money (based on other's similar experiences and the out of nowhere needing a cash deposit)

Andrew at the front desk was super friendly, and very helpful. We need more individuals with his peoples skills around, without a doubt. Give the guy a raise!!! Thank you, Andrew, for making my day after a very long drive.

Traffic noise made this stay almost unbearable. The hotel is situated next to a Dollar Tree distribution center, which means big rigs run 24 hours a day. The street outside is rough with some potholes, so the trucks make extra noise as they travel toward the adjacent highway. Additionally, I was disturbed by a screaming couple in the parking lot at 1:10 am. Slamming doors and cursing. This went on for an hour. Make sure you bring earplugs if want a good night’s sleep. One more thing: this hotel requires an extra $60 in cash (not on your card) just in case you decide to steal/dirty/etc. any part of the room. You get your money back upon checkout.
