Richtig! Das Hotel mag bessere Zeiten gesehen haben, aber für ein Landhotel und eine Übernachtung zwischen durch ist es günstig, gut und gepflegt. Die Zimmer wie auch die Badezimmer mögen etwas alt sein, aber gut erhalten und sehr sauber. Man renoviert gerade dies und das. Vor allem ist es sehr ruhig.||Ganz besonders ist das Restaurant zu empfehlen. Auch wenn es ein bisschen ein morbides Ambiente hat, das Essen und der Service sind sehr gut. Frisches Wildfleisch und sehr gute Beilagen dazu sehr günstige Getränke.||Das Frühstück war nicht sehr besonders, aber für den Übernachtungspreis kann man auch nicht viel mehr verlangen.||Je nach Anspruch sicher nicht jedermanns Hotel. Auch wenn es von aussen nicht so erscheint, wer aber einen sauberen, netten und freundlichen Zwischenstopp sucht, ist aufgebhoben,

Zimmer sind gut und sauber. Betten gut und sauber. Essen ist gut ebenso das Frühstück. Zimmer auf der Rücksite sind ruhiger als die auf der Vorderseite. WLan gibt fast wie überall in NAM Problemen.|Für 1-2 Nächte zu emphelen.

I recently had the chance to visit Mariental Hotel, and while I didn’t stay overnight, I did get a good feel for the place. The food here is really something special—delicious and super affordable, which is always a win in my book. Each dish I tried was flavorful and satisfying, and the portions were generous too.

However, the service left a bit to be desired. The staff were friendly enough, but the attentiveness and speed could definitely use some improvement. It was a bit hit-or-miss, which was a bit frustrating at times.

One thing that stood out to me was the very limited wine selection. If you’re a wine lover like me, this might be a bit of a letdown. They didn’t have many options available, so that’s something they could definitely work on.

On a brighter note, the atmosphere at Mariental Hotel is really nice. The decor is pleasant, and the music adds a great vibe to the place. It’s a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy a meal.

Although I didn’t stay overnight, I did take a peek at the rooms. They’re clean, affordable, and look quite cozy. If I were to spend the night, I’d feel confident about the accommodation.

All in all, Mariental Hotel has a lot going for it with its great food and pleasant atmosphere. With a bit of improvement in service and a better wine selection, it could be even better. If you’re looking for a tasty and affordable meal, this is definitely a place to check out.

Management was very rude to us as guests, rooms very outdated, very old TV and not working, there are only 2 channels with no sound. The bathroom has a shower in that did not have hot water, only after we asked they switched on the geyser, the whole floor was all wet after we showered. The aircons in room you can't even call an Aircon because they are outdated, it's just air. In the dining room we found cockroaches when we had breakfast . We had to kill more than 2. Would not recommend this place again,it was the last time I would stay there.

My fiance and I stayed at Mariental Hotel for 12 days in April, 2018. ||||The website advertised a swimming pool, but there was none. That area has been filled in, and there are benches and grass there now.||||The advertised free WiFi was spotty at best and unavailable 90% of the time.||||Meal Time||  Breakfast - I was twice given food that was not what I ordered, and once was served a random plate of food before I had a chance to place an order.||  Lunch and Dinner - Service was extremely slow. It generally took 1-2 hours to receive our food after ordering. One evening, we were sitting at a table on the patio, which is where our order was taken. Our dinner plates were served to an empty table inside the dining room, and half an hour went by before we were informed. Our food was cold by the time we knew it was ready.||||Laundry||We were charged $800 NAM ($73 US) for laundry service over 10 days, even though their website advertised that laundry is a daily, complimentary service. We were not advised that there would be a charge until we checked out. ||||Cleaning||Our room was serviced by cleaning staff daily, but not very well. ||We were provided with fresh towels only every fourth day, and once the toilet paper spindle was left empty. I asked the housekeeper to give us toilet paper, but she did not. Later that afternoon I asked another staff member for toilet paper. When I returned to my room 6 hours later, I still did not have any, and had to go to the grocery store and buy my own.  We did not receive fresh bed sheets during the entire course of our stay. ||||On 4 occasions staff unlocked my room and came in without knocking, while I was dressing or in the bathroom. I did not feel that I could be confident of any privacy. ||||At one point our shower head broke at the threaded part, and it took 4 days for maintenance to replace it. During that time we showered with water from the pipe in the wall. ||||There were some good aspects. Ingrid, the head chef, went out of her way to make sure that my meals did not violate my food allergies, and checked in with us during our stay to assure our satisfaction. The food was delicious.||||Geraldine also was very helpful, and provided rapid service from the bar area. She willingly learned new recipes to accommodate our desires, and always had a cheerful, pleasant manner.
