We've stayed twice at the Lazy H Lodge and found it to be a great experience both times. I love the location; the rooms are comfy; and we always get a great big breakfast. I'm normally not a big fan of B&B's but Rex and Kathy made us feel so at home that you would think we had known them for years. The property is beautiful with a lot of outdoor areas for entertaining. One of the best B&B's we've stayed at!

We came with two other couples on our annual Labor Day weekend and truly enjoyed staying here. Rex and Kathy are fantastic hosts, super friendly, we felt at home immediately. They also were a great resource for things to do or where to go out to eat. The lodge is so thoughtful set up with everything you need, comfortable rooms and common areas. Each room is a bit unique, plenty spacious a few night’s stay, and includes a mini fridge, so you can byob. The property is so nice with several areas to hang out and relax, fun to watch the deer come and feed each morning. Great location, close to many areas.

My wife and I stayed at the Lazy H for 2 nights. Rex and Kathy were wonderful people! Very friendly as easy to talk to and get to know. The rooms were all themed, very clean and roomy. The property was beautiful and had fantastic outdoor spaces including a large covered “party area” that always had a nice breeze even in August in Texas. Rex was very knowledgeable about the lake, Canyon Lake, which was very helpful as we are looking to buy in the area in the future. He also knew the best swimming holes. He was very good around the kitchen as well, not the typical fruit and bread, he made a very hardy breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage depending on the number of guests. We will definitely be back to visit!

Great property with Awesome hosts! Rex & Kathy go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your stay! The breakfast is always wonderful and delicious. They love what they do and it shows in every aspect of your stay from check-in to red-neck hottubing, pavilion beer drinking, campfire stories, breakfast, recommendations on dining and sightseeing to check-out!! You really couldn't ask for a better getaway, and it's a great value too! My wife and I have stayed many times over the last few years and we look forward to many more fun evenings with the Henry's.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Lazy H this past weekend. We were visiting for a friend's wedding that was nearby and were so glad to have found this quaint place to stay. Rex was wonderful and very friendly/welcoming as we arrived and made sure we were comfortable in our space. The house is beautiful and very well kept. The rooms were sparkling clean and so cozy, they had a wonderful breakfast made for everyone staying in the house hot and ready the next morning, it was awesome! We wish we could have enjoyed the awesome outdoor space they have as well but didn't get to this time around since we were at the wedding reception all evening. We definitely plan on coming back and HIGHLY recommend staying here! Excellent place!

We stayed here for two nights recently and loved our stay. Rex is an amazing host, very friendly and really interesting guy to chat to - on our first night we stayed in at the ranch and had some drinks and chatted and was lovely. On our second night we went out for dinner and came back to a camp fire that Rex had set up for us. It’s a beautiful spot to sit out under the stars and was a lovely way to relax in between busy stays in Austin and San Antonio. The lodge itself is gorgeous - beautifully decorated with excellent facilities and breakfast both days was amazing. We would love to stay here again if we’re back in the area.

Lazy H Lodge is simply the perfect stay. We just left after a week's stay and cannot speak highly enough of this property. We had come in for a wedding and had family from around the country fly in to stay as well. It was perfectly located between Austin and San Antonio, allowing for everyone to make the best airline choice for them. In hill country and near canyon lake, the location was perfect. The house itself exceeded all expectations. Open, comfortable, designed to bring people together. The kitchen was very well equipped, beds comfy and plenty of linens. The hosts, Rex and Kathy, were tremendous and went out of their way to make our stay exceptional. We can't wait to visit again.

The Lazy H was the choice of one of our travel mates for our annual Labor Day couples trip and my first experience in a bed and breakfast. I was hoping for the best but I thought it may be uncomfortable and awkward staying in another persons home. Happily, it was entirely the opposite. We were greeted by Rex despite our near midnight and later than anticipated arrival. We found the rooms to be clean, well maintained and cozy with each uniquely decorated. Breakfast was served at our leisure with each days menu different. Rex and Kathy were around whenever you needed them but never intrusive. The location was perfect for our planned excursions ... tubing on The Guadalupe River, Gruene Hall visit, and jaunt to Austin for a night of music. The property is filled with many places to land for a night cap from the back porch to the backyard bar area complete with swings. The Lazy H was beyond comfortable and a great find!
