Really nice hotel in a good location. Staff was very friendly. The room was more than adequate for my needs as a single traveler. Swimming pool workout facility on site but weather was too cold to use the pool. Breakfast in the morning was a very well laid out. Restaurants are close by. A couple within walking distance, others within a few minutes drive. Also convenience stores, gas stations and Walgreens very close by. I would stay here again with no problem and certainly recommend this location

Awful Experience - Avoid This Hotel!

I had the misfortune of staying at this hotel recently, and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. The room was filthy, and to make matters worse, I found cockroaches crawling around. I was completely disgusted. I’ve never had such a terrible experience with cleanliness at any hotel before. The sheets were stained, and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages.

The worst part, though, was the hotel manager, Peter. He completely ignored our complaints. Instead of apologizing or offering a solution, he seemed completely uninterested and acted as if I was a bother. It’s clear he has no concept of customer service or how to treat guests properly.

We left after waiting for hours for him to come in(which he never showed) and will never be returning. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place if you value your health and comfort. There are much better options in the area that actually care about their guests.

Warning ⚠️ Do not stay at this hotel. I recently booked a room at this hotel. They are scamming people!!! We checked in the room and upon getting in the room we noticed that the room was dirty. When we turned the sheets back there were nasty stains on the sheets and long black hairs under the covers. The walls were also dirty. We had only been in the room for 10 minutes. We were completely disgusted. We went to get a refund and the hotels had us wait 30 minutes for a manager that never came. She lied. She told us to come back in the morning for the manager as we did he never came. He was called several times by the clerk but never responded. Later to find out that the owner was the only person to be able to do the refund. We initially booked for two nights at 11.pm. Went to the room for 10 minutes and requested a refund. Were told to wait until after 12 a.m. for the manager or someone who could reverse the transaction. The manager never came so we had to find a hotel in the middle of the night. We tried 3 days to get a refund to still be charged for a one night stay that we never stayed. No one that worked at the front desk could help us on either day. This was the absolute worst hotel experience I've ever had. They are doing shady things at this hotel. The manger nor owner called us once just charged me anyway. I will never stay at this hotel again. Very unprofessional and unaccountable.

I had to make a quick stop on a trip from Florida to Texas, and this was a fantastic place to stay. The breakfast was convenient, and the staff were incredibly friendly. They even recommended some great quick stops in the area, which is super helpful for visitors unfamiliar with the region. I’d definitely stay here again!

We did not have a great experience here. I would choose the LaQuinta that is in a better location in Lake Charles. I have stayed at that location before and had a much better experience.
I chose this location because of the 2 queen beds and the sofa bed. I also choose LaQuinta because they are pet friendly but I liked them better when pets stayed at no extra charge. The location was sketchy, in my opinion, and many chemical plants within close proximity. The girl checking me in was going to charge me $30.00 for an early check in even though my room wasn't even ready. I told her I would not pay an early check in fee and would come back when my room was ready. There was trash piling up in the trash cans on the exterior of the property. The room was comfortable. The hallways were very noisy. I would not stay here again.

Room was clean and staff was nice. It was excellent and We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast buffet has eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles, bread and toast, cereals, pastry, yogurt, juice and coffee. We will be back.

Great experience! The staff was very sweet and helpful! Breakfast was your normal hotel breakfast, decent amount of options! Pool was clean! Overall great hotel for the price!
I will be using this hotel if I find myself in Westlake again!
