Wir hatten zwei rundum perfekte Aufenthalte im La Heim Hostel. Die Besitzer sind unglaublich hilfsbereit, aufgeschlossen und liebenswert. Die Lage ist ein Traum, ruhig gelegen und fußläufig nach Manali, vor allem der Ausblick auf die schneebedeckten Berge ist unvergesslich. Wir haben fast jedes Essen probiert und ausnahmslos jedes Gericht war sehr sehr lecker. Es gibt einen gemütlichen Gemeinschaftsraum mit Spielen und die Zimmer sind sauber, groß und komfortabel. Das La Heim Hostel wird mit Herz betrieben und wir kommen gerne dorthin zurück.
Wir haben erst im Dort und dann im Einzelzimmer übernachtet und beides war super.

La Heim Hostel is just awesome ❤️
I am a foreigner and I've stayed at many different hostels in India, mainly in Himachal Pradesh.
This hostel is by far the best ever.
It has everything I could wish for.
Great spacious dormitory, a spacious and (very) clean bathroom with a good hot shower.
The mountain views from the hostel are stunning.
It's really close to the busy village of Old Manali. La Heim is located in a very quiet area, just one village after Old Manali (It's only 5 minutes by car/auto, but it's also a pleasant walk!)
Great food and helpful owner.
I highly recommend La Heim Hostel to all travellers! See you again soon ?

La Heim is the best place you could find in Manali : it’s so quiet, the view is amazing, the dorm is very spacious and clean, the water is hot, the food is delicious, there are a lot of hikes starting from the hostel, Krishan is really nice and helping! And all of that for the best price !!
I had the perfect stay to explore the area and to relax 🙂

I had a fantastic experience at LaHeim. The location is perfect, offering stunning views. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with recommendations. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere was welcoming, making it easy to meet other travelers. I especially enjoyed the cozy common areas, games and of course Food. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Manali.

Two things make La Heim an amazing place - Location and people.
I don't think you can get that uninterrupted panorama view from any other place in manali. Dorms are very spacious and rooftop is star attraction. Ideal place for workation. Folks managing this place are truely amazing. Krishna is very accomodating, friendly, takes care of every guest plus he is great traveler himself, loved tracking with him and learned from his experiences.
Far away from old Manali ghetto this place is where one can relax or work in peaceful vibe, ofcourse with great scenery.

I stayed in this hostel for 4 days in June month. The manager of this hostel Krishan, is a gem of a person. Always kind, was always ready to help and guide me with whatever I asked him.
It’s a perfect place to experience village and remote Himalayan life ❤️

You can easily do a workation here, as the common area is amazing and the internet connection is reliable.

The nearby place is so peaceful as it’s near Village Goshal. You will have a great peaceful time here.

Must visit this place as a solo traveler or with your friends and family.

Absolutely loved my stay at La Heim Hostels in Manali! The hospitality was top-notch, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The hostel is located in a beautiful apple orchard just outside Old Manali. While it's accessible by cab, it's easier and more enjoyable to rent or bring your own vehicle to explore the surroundings at your own pace.

The hostel is impeccably clean, with high-standard rooms and comfortable beds. The rooftop is a highlight, offering stunning valley views through its Plexiglas wind protection. For chilly evenings or days, there’s a cozy common room on the ground floor with wood heating.

The staff are incredibly welcoming and go above and beyond to fulfill every need. The food is AMAZING – we even enjoyed a rooftop bonfire with chicken biryani. They can also guide you to secret spots around the hostel and the valley that are off the beaten path.

Our stay at LaHeim was wonderful. The name truly reflects its essence; "Heim" in German means something more than home, and that’s exactly how we felt.

I highly recommend this hostel. It’s one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at in India
