Great location in the center of Saalfeld, decent albeit outdated rooms. I was almost too tall to stand in the shower/toilet box which was also a bit smelly. First time I’d ever seen a bathroom in a box. Bicycles can be securely stored in the basement/garage with limited access. Very friendly reception. Overall good value.

We wanted to stay in a hotel close to the town centre. It is a decent hotel. Staffs were very helpful even though there was some confusion about the breakfast being included in the price or not. It was eventually sorted. Good size bedroom with very comfortable bed. The room was clean. We were overlooking the backyard, which was fine. Overall a good place for couple of nights, nothing luxurious but at the same time nothing poorly.

Such a beautiful hotel and the staff are super friendly and helpful regarding any issue. I’ve visited many hotels during my travels but so far I have yet to see such clean, comfy place to spend your vacation or any other reasons. |To the lovely staff I say “ thank you from the heart “

Excellent buffet breakfast, freshly baked egg, salm, etc. Would recomment not to book single room small however. It's really small. Single small bed. Cabin in the room with toilet, douche and small wash basin. For one night with late arrival it was just sufficient. Parking in the garage. However watch out if car is low on the wheels when you park in the lift. It will hit the bottom of the car! Hotel is located in the middle of the town so good for a quick walk to the center in the evening for a drink on a terras.

The Tanne is a clean and functional hotel. It won't have great wifi or coffee in the rooms, the beds are a little bit squidgy but they are clean. The staff are very friendly and do their best to help you. Many of the staff have limited English so take your Google Trranslate App! |It's in the centre of town and you can easily walk to the bus and railway stations. |The buffet breakfast is varied with something for everyone.

Clear room, comfortable bed and chair inside. Small but functional bathroom. Very friendly staff. I had small problem with language because I don't speak German but it isn't problem. Everything was ok. I was accomodation in this hotel during my business trip.
