My mother and I stayed here end of November for a girls weekend to relax and visit the Christmas market nearby. We had one of the apartments across the street from the hotel, top floor. The room was spacious with a nice interior and a jacuzzi (which was really nice!).
The beds were fine, the room clean and everything we needed was there. The hotel uses down (Daune) bedding and I am allergic, so we asked for synthetic bedding and this was no problem. There were also some defect lamps in the room, but the hotel sent someone to fix it as soon as we mentioned it. Something to take into account is that there is no elevator in the apartment building and the stairs are pretty steep, so if you are a wheelchair user or have trouble with stairs otherwise, you should book a room in the hotel itself which has an elevator. Then on to the compliment section: The staff at the hotel was absolutely amazing. They were all very friendly, requests and questions were no problem and the restaurant staff even remembered our choice of drinks from the day before. I felt really welcome as a guest. The breakfast buffet was extensive. The town is small but there are some nice stores, just as in Bad Iburg and Bad Rotherfelde, which are both nearby. The public transport is good. The salt walls are also worth exploring.

This is a charming and relaxed hotel in the center of town with comfortable and generously-sized rooms, a pool, and sauna. Breakfast buffet has lots of options: cheeses, meats, delicious breads, yogurts, cereals, and fruits. The super nice staff made us feel welcome throughout our stay. If you are staying in the area, I highly recommend!

If you love half-timbered architecture, you'll adore The Storck. It is a 17th c. structure, lovingly preserved and housing a great traditional Northern German restaurant and a hotel in the attached modern building. The rooms are large and pleasantly furnished, no frills but they contain everything required. The beds are king-size and have nice beddings. The bathrooms are modern and well-lit, the morning breakfast simply gargantuan. Modestly priced.

Stay here on a regular basis for a week at a time for business purposes.||||Staff are always very friendly and helpful and most speak good English. The attached restaurant as a good menu, although after a repeated visits could be a bit larger. The food (and beer) is however excellent.||||The rooms are very nice and have all over the last few years be updated. All of flat screen TV's some have spa baths, I prefer the rooms in the building opposite. Family and adjoining rooms are available, including some with kitchen facilities.||||The hotel has a very small swimming pool which is free to use and a sauna.||||Located in the center of Bad Laer, surrounded by a few other restaurants and cafes. The only negative is if you get a room next to the church, where the bell ringers start a 7am.

I visited this hotel for work's trip.||It was very very confortable, breakfast have a wide range of sweet and salt food.||Typical german structure in quiet village, restaurant with traditional German cuisine. ||The staff was Friendly and helpful, the value for money is very good.||Bath room with Jacuzzi, and wide bedroom.||Only one sticking point, in the bathroom are missing shower soap and shampo. Perfect accomodation that would deserve 5 stars, but only for the soap missing I vote 4 stars.

I visit this hotel regular thanks to the headquarters of the company I work for is very close. The hotel price is low, the newest rooms have fantastic internet, almost all rooms have bubble baths, and multiple TV-screens. ||An absolute fantastic experience, which can be recommended without any but's or maybe's.
