The 5 stars are for the owners who are very nice and dedicated, they put a lot of efforts to improve this hotel which was left aside for a long time by the previous owners.
I came for the Hannover Messe at a time when prices are high and places to stay are all full, this hotel was one of the last, the reviews were not always good but the price very correct and I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of service. The room was not the most beautiful nor the most modern but the bed was very comfortable and the Wifi powerful. The breakfast is very good and varied. Also, the location est very close to the city center and well deserved by the public transport.
I recommend this place for its humanity.
Congratulations to both of you, the road is still long but the effort is recognizable and beautiful 👏

A basic hotel situated at a main road junction two tram stops from the Markthalle U-bahn station in central Hannover's old quarter. Based on floors one to three of an undistinguished, functional building, the hotel's Reception, Breakfast Room and some bedrooms are on the first floor, with further bedrooms on floors two and three. Rooms are quite pricey for what is offered - my single (with shared shower and wc) was nearly €75 per night. There is a lift. Floor 3 is probably the quietist. Although cleaned daily, my small, rather spartan, single room somehow seemed dingy and a bit shabby, with a badly stained carpet. There was no bedside light (the table lamp wouldn't have reached even if there had been a bedside table). The tv and telephone were functioning well but wifi reception was dreadful. Staff were helpful and spoke English. The breakfasts (07:00 to 10:00 on weekdays, 08:00-10:00 at weekends) were pretty good - a typical German buffet. If you need to eat at other times there are good cafes either side of the hotel and 24-hour burger bars and kebab shops very nearby. There are banks and shops - and a cinema - very close to the hotel. The Harp, an Irish pub is two minutes or so walk away (level with the tram stop), has a beer garden next to the river bank path, serves beer and good pub food, and features live music events and sports tv. The area is a bit rundown and noisy but is fairly convenient for central Hannover, with its many attractions.

Given that I booked this within 24 hours of travel and it cost less than 50 euros, I can live with the fact it was one of the smallest rooms I have ever stayed in and had a shared bathroom. Good location, very easy to reach from the station and friendly staff. Even though it is on a busy street, the traffic noise wasn't loud.

We had to choose this hotel because we were in town for a conference and all good hotels had already been booked. They charged 150 euros/night for this dump but again: we had no choice! The Location is horrible in a shady part of town, about 10 minute drive from the city centre and 20 minute drive from the conference centre. The beds were uncomfortable, the front desk girl was very rude and made snarky comments. The breakfast was really good though and the rooms clean but I wouldn't have stayed here if there would have been any other choices.

Never seen this place before and purely chose it because of price. I was not disappointed at all. The entrance looks a bid dodgy, but as soon you checked in everything looks much better. The room was spacious and equipped to what one needs. The same for the on-sweat bathroom. A bit of a slow Internet connection but it is working. (At no extra cost)||Where this places stands out is with the breakfast, fantastic coffee and a well stocked buffet.||If you like cheas you will not be disappointed. The staff is fully bilingual and friendly / helpful.

We met a very friendly front-desk, he is very patient with all kinds of our questions:-) and I'm happy with the site, very convenient, with bus station, supermarkets, and some restaurants around it. The rooms are clean, my room is a single-bed room, directly to the street, but I'm glad that the windows are pretty good, so no trouble in there. P.s. In one-bed-room there is no slippers, so for those who is also gonna book it, don't forget bring ur own pair.

Unfortunately I didn't get a photo of the outside, which I loved for how retro it looks. Getting in is a little confusing and the staff didn't have great English (not judging--my German is pretty bad--just letting potential visitors know) but they were able to upgrade our room when we realized we reserved the wrong type. Breakfast was the usual cold cuts, cereals, and juices, but not bad. It's a great place to stay if seeing a show at the Capitol.

Very good hotel with unbeatable low price. You get all what 4 starts hotels have to offer with half the price. Perfect location in the heart of the city, shops are all around. Only annoying part was the unavailability of reception. I had to call to get the door open. I called by phone once to ask for something while outside, there was no answer. I knocked the reception office door in two different times, night and morning, no one was there to open the door.
