This hotel is on the hill about 2km up from the Lindau waterfront so is best for travelers with a car. There is free parking outside. The hotel is in a large building surrounded by gardens with a good view over a small vineyard towards Lake Constance. Our room was spacious and comfortable. It was a warm night, so the lack of air conditioning was noted. Breakfast was excellent in the sunny conservatory. The tariff was on the high side but typical of Lindau hotels.

Very ordinary. For 3 star superior, there was no provision made for fans in the summer heat. If you opened windows you were invaded by mosquitoes. The management was not very obliging. We were in the hotel for 5 night and had taken 3 rooms and yet we were charged 7 euros to wash 7 plates for a birthday cake! Not the money but reflected the lack of hospitality of the owner.

The hotel provides a very friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced. It is about 2K from the train station. The room is small but with a refrigerator. No kettle is provided while I like to make my own coffee and tea. The lock of door could not be opened easily with the key. I needed to pull the door handle a little bit when I twisted the key at the same time in order to open it. Apart from this minor setback, I found the breakfast so good and with two thumbs up.

A very positive experience. The hotel is located in a very quite area in Lindau, however close to the island. It keeps what mentioned on their web pages: room is nice and well equipped, bathroom is ok with a large shower, breakfast is plentiful and rich of sweets and savory, with fresh fruits that are different every day. To see it's more a house than a hotel, and this makes a positive difference in my opinion, because it makes you feel almost at home. And breakfast in the veranda is a great way to start the day. I definitely recommend it.

This hotel was perfect for us, quiet, well-located. The staff is friendly, very helpful. Parking is available on-site. Breakfast was good, plenty of variety. It was served in a bright room overlooking the area. Beds were comfortable, offering a great nice sleep. There is a good restaurant, about 10 minutes' walk. The neighborhood is safe, only a 20-minute walk to the Lindau bridge. It's uphill walking back though but not a problem for us, two active seniors. There is parking just over the bridge if you want to drive. The location is also great for driving to the Zeppelin Museum and Meersburg. |

Stayed only one night with wife and six year old and was very happy with the experioence. The Hotel is about a 30 minute walk to the Island. We traveled by a car and the parking spot was very secure. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast buffet in the morning was fantastic and provided alot of options. The room was very spacious, warm and spacious.
