Bedbugs!! And when I discovered them, the reception was closed (10 p.m.) and did not open again until 12:10 p.m. So I slept on the floor, and then I had breakfast at a local bakery while waiting for asking for a complete refund. Which I got.||I should have returned to the reception and checked out as soon as I felt the intense smell in the stairways, or at least when I spotted the plastic bag with empty (?) pizza boxes outside the next room.

Despite the reviews I was really considering booking a room, because of the „good prices“. Checked it out on booking. It was better than I expected ~9€/day. I was literally about to book it for 20 days … and then realised … BRO THIS IS 9000€ NOT 9€/DAY! Are you guys insane. This is now clearly just a money grab and I expect the hotel to close in the next few months after a few people fall into the trap 😅

We only wanted to stay one night.
Seeing other ratings, I guess we were lucky they had someone to attend us at 20:00.
Curry and food smell was what first struck us.
Then the carpet on the stairs was so dirty and dusty I think that it would be much better if they took them out.
I think they tried to renovate the hotel some years ago and some of the furniture is in good condition, but other is not.

I don't think they have a cleaning service because the bathroom was smelling like piss, no air ventilation. The shower had mold of different colours: black, yellow, pink, you name it. They tried to cover it with a towel. The mold in the tiles was painted over with white paint which only makes it worse....

I didn't take my shoes off and did not take a shower there because it is a health hazard. I don't even think that prisons have these conditions.

I'm sure that seeing from the comments this hotel must have had some change 6 years ago, and since Corona it was a downfall. I'm sorry for that.

Hope they will take action soon.

I firmly Not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel! Why it is opened for the poor guests , I don’t get. it’s extremely dirty ! stinky! And it’s not safe for your health to stay here. I did not expect such dirtiness in Germany( I want notify desinfection center of Aachen to come and check in on dangerous Mikrobs. I was cheated they would clean at least my room but after moving in and paying I discovered awful condition in bathroom shower. I have pics and videos, I cleaned it myself , 🤮to take a shower.I also clean a bed myself and doors all in spot! Also no any plug near the bed! Why I m still here? Because I was operated on my leg and arms and I cannot carry heavy bags to another hotel! Also,I have to struggle every day with keys,which is always stuck and so I cannot go out in time! My holiday is spoilt!((😢😢😢I ve been asked for this hell 700 for and was discounted till 650 eu!!

It was horrible. Starting with the fact that the lobby was not working and after arriving at 9am it was impossible to get into the common lobby to go to the toilet or wait for check in. The whole hotel is very old and you can see that it has not been looked after. The whole time I had to be there it was a struggle with feelings of squeamishness.

The experience was really bad for so many reasons:
1. The hallways smell of cigarettes
2. The double bed is a too small for 2 adults to sleep properly
3. The mattress was sooooo bad, I have back and neck pain after sleeping there for 3 nights
4. We did not have electricity for almost 24 hrs in our rooms
5. The walls are thin, so if you get a loud neighbor like I did, you can hear all their conversations
6. There is mold on the shower slide door
7. The Towels had brown stains
The only good thing is the location, that's it.
NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very basic rooms. The rooms and bathrooms were tiny. The beds were relatively comfortable but facilities were poor. The photos on the website were cleverly deceptive and did not give a true picture of the shabby reality. We booked a double room and were given a twin. On the road side the noise was too great to have the window open but with no air conditioning the rooms were unbearably stuffy. The garage was not suitable for anything other than a tiny car, but there was a carpark nearby. Not a very salubrious part of the town.

The stench of cigarettes and illegal substances. Noise. The windows are moldy. There is rust in the shower. Bed linen poorly washed. My friend immediately developed an allergy. I think the hotel needs to be changed a little and make sure that this is a hotel and not a train station where illegal substances are smoked!
