The hotel Fuersteneck is located in the center of Bernburg. The hotel is classical, not expensive at all and of easy access.||The staff was very kind and friendly. They didn't speak very well English but it was absolutely not an issue as they did their best to communicate important things.||The room was very nice, clean, well-equipped and very calm during the night. I slept very well there.||The breakfast buffet was great. I particularly appreciated the cheese buffet (broad choice). it was really excellent.||I think if I go back in Bernburg, I'll again choose this hotel as it represents an excellent place to stay.

We stopped in Bernburg for a night at this old East German hotel. Well preserved with reasonable rates our second floor room was large and furnished nicely with good quality turn of the century furniture. Though nice to look at the bed was hard and definitely no more than double size and a little small for two people. We also found the large bath had never been upgraded for pressure balanced water and the shower often switched from hot to cold. WIFI was a 5.39 MBS and would have probably streamed a movie if we had chosen to do so. |||| All and all it was a very nice room. We also enjoyed the breakfast and found it to be one of the better ones on the trip. ||||A hotel Sauna was also available for 8e. The Bar down stairs on the main floor was continually empty. Perhaps it had more customers on week ends, and we did not use it. Our rate including tax was only 77e and you get the bet rate if you call the hotel direct.

Very nice place to stay after we rode our motorbikes from Krakow. We had no problems booking the room for four guys. Two rooms within one, quite unusual but fitted the bill perfectly. Very clean and tidy. I would recommend it to anyone who is traveling wanting an hotel.

We stayed in a familyroom, which in fact was an appartement with two floors. A pleasant surprise! Nice, modern and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and a good kitchen in the appartement. Good breakfast and friendly staff|
