Would never stay here again. Checked in late, went to my room only to find pubic hair on the bed, rust in all areas of the kitchen and bathroom. I did see some roaches (but this is Phoenix). It was late and I was too tired to attempt to find another place to stay. In the morning I went and told them I would not be staying another night and to cancel the rest of my stay. I called customer service about this and asked for a refund, explained the situation and sent pics. Though I did stay one night, I wanted a refund for all of my money and they gave me none. The people at the front desk had attitudes too. They don’t deserve 1 star.

If I could leave a less than one star review, I would. This is definitely the cheapest (you get what you pay for) hotel I have ever stayed at. When I asked the host if it was a non-smoking room, she replied that all the rooms were non-smoking but not everyone listens. Well, my room (and I assume many, if not all) was stinky/smokey smelling. There doesn't appear to be any regular maintenance/upkeep going on at the hotel. The bed sheets were clean, however, and the in-room TV was pretty good. I really can't say much more than that. The photos pretty much speak for themselves.

Don’t stay at this place if you don’t absolutely have to. And I mean even if there’s sold out hotels in the area. You’ll be better off sleeping in the airport. My room didn’t look or smell clean. Bathroom smelled like pee. Tub needs a resurfacing. Kitchenette needs work. Towels looked used. Floor was dirty. Slept in my clothes on top of the blanket and decided to just shower when I get home.

We stayed here for a little over a week. For the price it was okay. Staff was friendly and helpful!
It ppl fairly clean.
My only complaint is roaches. I only saw one the whole stay but one is too many for me! If you don’t mind a few bugs I would highly recommend.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL Horrible place they left their guest outside in the cold. At 10:55pm there where guests there ready to
Check in including ourselves , this hotel left a note on the door saying they close at 11pm. What hotel closes at 11pm?
There are guest traveling from all over and at different times. Also when we got there, there was a housekeeper who was rude saying “nobody is going to help you”. So many people including ourselves were left without a room last night right before thanksgiving, I hope they refund everyone their money & Learn how to operate your business the right way & stay open how a hotel should 24/7 in case the guest need anything. Luckily we were able to find another hotel down the street that is open 24/7.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. They do not care about their guest. I wish I would have read reviews before. They have nothing but 1 star low rating reviews and they still don’t fix all their problems!

Room was clean, smell clean, great customer service I ask for extra pillow housekeeper Martha went out her way to bring me one and made sure I didn't need anything else. Just a bit loud with the light rails so close .but other than that 10points for me .

I recently stayed at HomeTowne Studios Phoenix-Dunlap Ave and, unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. From the moment I checked in, there were numerous issues that made my stay uncomfortable and disappointing.

Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by its lack of cleanliness. The floors had not been thoroughly cleaned, there were visible stains on the bedding, and the bathroom had an unpleasant odor. To make matters worse, some basic amenities were missing, such as towels and toiletries, which I had to request multiple times before they were provided.

The hotel itself was noisy, with thin walls that did little to muffle the sounds of other guests. This made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Additionally, the air conditioning unit in my room was old and barely functional, making the room either too hot or too cold with no in-between.

The room was extremely warn down and out dated. There was no garbage can in the room. Front desk refused to give us extra towels or pillows (they only gave us 1 towel and 2 really thin pillows for 2 people) until I got adamant. There was hair everywhere in the room and the cabinets and drawers were all broken and dirty. Our toilet plugged up at 1:30 in the morning and there was no one manning the front desk so we were left without a functioning toilet. We were greeted at the front door with everything turned off and a sign that said “sorry, we’re full. Contact 3rd party sites for a refund”
