Where do I begin. Houston being one of the best locations for medical help & this place is one to AVOID at all costs. The extreme lack of professionalism & help that happened with Dr.Ho along with the office manager Angela, who is more useless than Dr.Ho in assisting to help with issues that he is a so called “expert” on. Would an expert say verbatim: “… I’m not sure what to do with you and do not want to waste your time?“. There is no one that should ever have to hear that. He & Angela only care about the money that they bring in and do not care for the patients or their issues themselves. Had to return to an ER, where I found out that there are tests/exams to run that Dr.Ho failed to mention/said there is nothing. Your health is always important and a priority but this place doesn’t have that as their motto. They just want you in and out of their office and see you as a $ rather than a patient in need of help. A specialist who doesn’t know or doesn’t care about people getting better & Angela who simply could be replaced by a child to do her job. I know reviews are situational but they won’t help you, instead go to a Baylor recommended urologist and they’ll be MUCH MORE help than the incompetent people like Angela & Dr.Ho.
Do not waste your time like I already have with people who should not be in the medical/office field. There is a lot MORE & BETTER HELP OUT THERE! This is YOUR HEALTH so don’t waste it on some people who severely lack any sort of professionalism, actual help, and expertise/knowledge of the subject. GO ANYWHERE ELSE THAN THIS PLACE! You’ll regret it if you go here just like I did.

Along with their response, I would like to remind you & everyone that I was never called from Dr. Ho about anything. In fact, the appointment took about 10 minutes & he didn’t hear really anything I had to say about my symptoms or questions, he only stayed because I was uncomfortable & unsatisfied with the discussion as I felt there was no true help or even discuss solutions, just handed me medicine that I had already taken which if he had listened to what I had to say about the situation, would come to find that I had already received it. Again, they truly don’t care to help & I guess add lying to that as well because NO ONE reached out to me from that office, especially Dr.Ho. I sincerely urge you to rethink you’re decision on going here as there are multiple other urologists/offices that are truly professional, truly helpful, and truly caring; not just some lying individuals who DO NOT care about your health.

Very disappointed and very stressful about my husband's procedures with Dr. Ho.
We were referred to Dr. Ho by our family doctor. Done one side of ESWL in Oct. 2024 and the other side in Dec. 2024(3 weeks ago). My husband had followed up total 3 times since October and today also took images again for both side...both sides of stones are still there....not even reduced half sizes. Is it difficult procedure to get it done successfully? I just don't understand.

Dr. Ho was most attentive to my needs after my kidney transplant. He works alot with the Methodist Transplant team. I had some ureter and bladder issues that took a while to straighten out but Dr. Ho
is very knowledgeable and got me through it all. He has a good friendly bedside manner and a great sense of humor, and my husband just adores him! Dr. Ho helped me tremendously.

I became a patient of Dr. Ho's upon a recent hospitalization. So while I did not select Dr. Ho, it soon became apparent that I was very fortunate to have had been assigned to him for treatment. Dr. Ho described the various treatment options for my condition in great detail and explained the pros and cons of each. He is very thorough in his explanations and listens to and responds to any questions thoroughly. Dr. Ho performed the treatment that we agreed upon in his office and the experience was exactly as he described, and the results were excellent.

In addition, his office staff and assistants are as proficient, courteous and professional as can be expected, far exceeding the typical experience.

I can only offer my highest recommendation to anyone that needs the services of a urologist.

As I sit here on this Easter Sunday thinking about all I have been through this year with my kidneys I can’t help but to feel so very grateful for Dr. Ho. He was and is the most amazing doctor I’ve ever had. He was genuinely concerned about my medical situation and he made sure that I felt comfortable with every procedure he had to perform. He wasn’t selfish with his time, every visit and every time he came to see me at the hospital, he made sure to take his time and make sure I was well informed of everything I needed to know about my treatments and procedures. Honestly, I thank God for a doctor like him because I haven’t met very many. He helped me endure through one of the most difficult times of my life. Over a year of kidney issues and four surgeries later I feel brand new. I highly recommend Dr. David Ho, you will be so happy with your choice and not only will you feel like you won the lottery of the best physician, you will at times wonder if he is an angel sent to you from above.
