Picked this hotel as it was located near the old city it (and a private car park no fee) and was a short walk across the bridge. Reception was friendly and readily gave advice on the old city and the Hotel amenities. Be aware that there is no facilities in the room for tea or coffee and the machine in the foyer is for a charge. Something we were not used to. Room was spacious and had what you needed. Great for an overnight or extended stay.

Good location just outside the old town of Stade. Clean, quiet, staff that is friendly. ||This was our second visit to Stade and this hotel. Hadn’t booked a room but on arrival we got the last available room which was the biggest apartment with two bedrooms and kitchenette/living room and of course a bathroom. Wow, this was impressive! AC in all rooms, plenty of places to put your clothes, refrigerator and everything you need in a kitchen. The balcony was reachable from each room and that made it very long! The view of the old town was great! Plastic chairs to put on the balcony were in the kitchen. ||The free parking area was full but there is another area behind it. The hotel payed for the ticket when we left. ||We didn’t include breakfast since we had a kitchenette. ||In my last review I said that we will probably stay here again and so we did. Would definitely recommend this hotel and especially the apartments!

It's OK.
Pros: the staff is helpful and liasied the rental of a bicycle in my behalf, the rooms are clean, the view towards the pier is cool, they hand out a 5 euro voucher for every day you don't require your room to be cleaned.
Cons: the pillows are way too soft, the walls are too thin - my bedside wall vibrates whenever someone opens or closes a door and the carpet smells bad.
