We just had our wedding at Enterkine House on the 9th December and it was absolutely perfect. Sharon and Shannon went above and beyond to ensure we and our guests had an incredible experience.
From early in our booking, all the staff at Enterkine were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Sharon and Shannon were there for any question we had and a few visits to the venue. Both of them were very professional and experienced - so much so, that we completely trusted them on the run up and day of the wedding. Shannon was our MC on the day, and she made it completely seamless. Everything was timed well, and we never felt rushed. We were so relaxed and truly enjoyed every moment.
We had heard amazing reviews from friends and family, but Enterkine House really surpassed our expectations. The venue was beautiful, the food was amazing, and our guests had a fantastic time. We honestly couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate with everyone we love! Thank you so so much for making our day so special and we hope to be back soon!

We had the pleasure of visiting the Christmas Day carvery at Enterkine.||There was a lovely festive atmosphere and the venue was beautiful decked out for Christmas. ||The staff were very attentive and friendly as we were shown to our seat and our choices of starters and desserts were taken. They also made sure we always had a drink.||The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. ||We would highly recommend !

We attended the hotel for a wedding as evening guests on Monday 30th December, having booked a room for the night with breakfast the following morning. |There were four of us, two rooms, and we had booked dinner ahead of attending the wedding for the evening. Upon entering the restaurant, it was evident it wasn’t open. The manager (unclear on her name) advised they would sort us out but jokingly asked ‘beef or chicken’. We were seated, ordered drinks and within a matter of minute the manager and one other staff member appeared with two chicken dishes and two beef dishes, clearly from the wedding meal. We were grateful and accepted under the circumstances. We proceeded to have the meal, more drinks and it cost us £150. We later found out that people hadn’t attended the wedding and we were given reheated wedding food and charged full price for this, even though the lovely couple had already paid for this. |Beyond this, my main and prime gripe is with the young Asian boy who works behind the bar and enjoyed telling me ‘this is my place and I’ll speak to you how I want’. He had an attitude on him the entire night, repeatedly made inappropriate comments about guests as we stood at the bar and also served me drinks, took my money, to then come to my table and walk away with them, before pouring them down the sink and claiming he wouldn’t serve me and I was being cheeky. It then ended in confrontation with me being escorted out for asking for my money back and not allowing him to speak to me like a piece of dirt.|This member of staff’s attitude is utterly disgusting and disgraceful to say the least. |Overall, I will not return. £5 a tequila rose, happy to charge us for a reheat dinner which was already paid for and more than anything a complete moron behind the bar claiming ‘he owns this place’ isn’t somewhere I’d like to associate with ever again. I’d highly recommend anyone considering here goes elsewhere and saves themselves heartache or dealing with extremely poor staff!

We had our first Xmas lunch at Enterkine and it was first class. The staff were warm and welcoming on arrival and attentive throughout the meal. There was a choice of starters and sweets which were served and the main was a quality buffet. It is the best buffet and Xmas lunch I have had and I have had many. It was so well organized and although we chose 12.30 for dining, we were allowed to have our table all day if we wished.

We recently got married at Enterkine House and it was absolutely perfect!
We booked 2 years in advance and throughout the countdown and planning we had a tonne of different queries that we would be asking about by email to Enterkine staff all of which were answered swiftly and every time they helped our plans and ideas become a reality.
When it came to our big day Sharon was an absolute dream. She took on all of the stresses of the day and made us feel completely at ease. We were able to have our big day outside due to the unusual appearance of the sun that day and managing this slight change of plan was not a problem to Sharon, she made sure the seating etc was amended and as she was so great we trusted her completely.
The venue itself was incredible and really does not need much decor as it is so stunning on its own. The staff behind the bar and serving our meals were all so friendly too. The food on the day was beautiful too, so many of our guests complimented it on our wedding day! There really was not a bad thing to say- our rooms were perfect too! Thank you for making our day so amazing and we will be back to enjoy a SPA day when it opens ?

Got married here this past weekend and the whole experience was wonderful. |From booking over a year ago right through to the morning after, the staff were friendly, attentive and couldn't do enough for us. |The venue itself is gorgeous, the food is incredible with many guests telling us it's the best they've had a wedding. Plenty of accomodation and loads of work being done to expand and build on what they've already got. |We've been looked after by Shannon and Sharon over the year with Shannon and team coordinating our wedding day. Everything went smoothly and we can't fault them for anything. Everyone we came into contact with was friendly and helpful including bar, cleaning and breakfast staff. |Looking forward to visiting again in future and maybe trying out the lodges with the hot tubs!
