We liked the incredibly spacious room, the friendly staff, convenient location, pool, happy hour and the breakfast amenities. We had room to stretch, breathe and play. We had a giant meeting table and two televisions. Our kids loved it. But having travelled a bit over the continental US, it's hard to love this hotel. It's a refurbished older property, but we've stay at places that did a better job with even older construction.

Needs improvement: (1) the $15/day parking fee is unacceptable in the 2-3 star commuter price class (Marriott Fairfield, Holiday Inn Express, Westin Element, etc). Charge $15 more per night. This arrangement required me to enter a credit card into a non-Hilton website. For all I know, a criminal could put a sandwich board with a scam website in the parking lot to steal all our private info.

(2) Our suite wasn't available until two hours after it was supposed to be (6pm vs 4pm).

(3) The loud and rattling air conditioning units indoors, the visibility rusty and dripping units exposed from the outside.

(4) The parking lot needs repaving.

(5) The handout map given to guests lists incorrect and/or outdated information: restaurant is NOT open for dinner, breakfast bar closes earlier than the flier. This led my family and several others to arrive to a closing buffet and no food.

(6) We asked for additional towels brought to our room, but because it was a little after 9pm, we had to go to the lobby to get them. The front desk people are VERY nice and VERY professional, but I think they were just not given enough manpower to provide competitive service here. Pool towels also did not seem to keep up over the busy weekend, either. Perhaps it was busier than usual.

(7) There were no do not disturb signs, probably because there was no housekeeping at all during our 3 night stay. The tiny trash cans just piled up. I understand water is scarce, but a simple brochure in the welcome packet or a placard in the bathroom could tell guests what to expect in terms of environmentally sensitive housekeeping. We don't need perfectly folded beds with mints on the pillow every four hours. We don't need towel animals or toilet paper origami. At the very least, just take out the trash every day.

I understand that this is a competitive class of hotel with high volume but low margins. We had an overall positive experience, but I have had a smoother experience at similarly priced Hilton and Marriott managed properties. I'm offering this feedback with the hopes it will improve the experience for others.

This has got to be the worst hilton I’ve ever stayed at. I’m pretty laid back when it comes to hotel especially when it’s just for the night to break up a drive. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! Hair everywhere, trash from last guest on counter and in trash cans, filthy everywhere, every counter was sticky or dusty, mold in tub/shower and the toilet clearly hadn’t been cleaned. Also the AC didn’t work. We didn’t even sleep under the covers. Had we not gotten in at our kids bed time we would have found somewhere else but we needed to rest so we could get the heck out of there. We clearly had 6 people on our reservation and didn’t have pillows or blankets for the pull out. Ended up getting sheets from the front desk and laying them over the couch because the pull out was nasty. Needed to do laundry but it was out of order. Do not stay here. The only positive i could say was that it wasn’t noisy.

This was my Christmas gift to my daughter, another trip to the desert. We loved it! A true gem. We cannot wait for our return, but it will need to be a longer stay. The pool was a wonderful temp. The breakfast was incredible. The bartender was a total sweetheart and kind. We just didn't get a chance to use their pickle ball courts. Definitely in the plans for next time.

Do not stay here your reservation will get messed up. We came in for a basketball tournament and this hotel canceled 3 of our rooms. The front desk said it was "Hanks" full, Hank said it was the Front desk. If you book two rooms they give you one and call it a shared room. The tournament director says he has had nothing bad horrible experiences with this hotel. The front desk doesn't care and they refused to give us the Genaerl Managers contact. Stay away worse Embassy Suites ever. We went to the best Western across the street. Better rooms and better price.

We spend five nights in two rooms. We are diamond hhonors members.

It was a nice day, but not without some difficulties.

The hotel is in a nice location. Nicely maintained and laid out. Some of the stuff work very hard, including Kenny and Lauren at the managers reception and Rosa at breakfast. The hotel was very busy during our stay, and these people really did their best to keep things moving.

The heat was not operating in our room. I asked at the front desk, and maintenance was able to have it taken care of within a half hour. It can get chilly at night, so this was great.

During our stay, much of the resort was booked due to a basketball tournament. It was loud and there were large crowds at various points, which was not ideal but it happens.

I checked in early on the app. I chose to rooms next to each other on the first floor, as we wanted proximity between our rooms and did not want to deal with the stairs/ walkways etc. When I showed up at 4:00 p.m. to check in, ignoring that it took a half hour due to the glut of basketball teams, I was unable to go right to my room as they reassigned the rooms I had selected. They then told me no rooms were ready and that I should wait a half hour. I got in the back of the line and within a half hour I was back at the front again. This time I was told that rooms would be in opposite areas of the complex. Different floors, different corners. That was not going to work for us. Eventually, we were given rooms on the same floor but nowhere near each other. It was a frustration for our entire stay.

Our biggest frustration, however, was housekeeping. Yes, one day, my kids had left the do not disturb sign on the door, so that room was not made up. One of our rooms was made up daily about half the time. The other room, was never made up in the five nights. We were making our own beds and taking out our own garbage. In particular, I am upset because I asked repeatedly at the front desk, called housekeeping, asked the housekeeping staff when I saw them on the floor, etc. I kept being told that yes that room would be done, and it's simply never was. Again, some fresh towels and a garbage change would have sufficed. I don't mean to have higher expectations due to my diamond status, but this was very much a letdown. Ultimately, the room was not quite as comfortable as it could have been.

Would consider returning to the area, but would probably stay at a different property. I enjoyed the managers reception the most, and that's not reason enough to return.

Great property but the rooms could use a little help. No plug for the tub & a few tattered items in the room. I’m a Hilton Diamond member & love Embassy Suites but this is a little failing. Front Desk is amazing & Kenny @ Happy Hour….THE MOST INCREDIBLE !
