This place has the potential to be the best hotel in the area. It’s in the right location, the atmosphere is great for families and even those without kids. The staff is friendly and attentive. They are super quick to respond to guests and they provide cribs if requested (which the hotel down the street did not). || All great, but there are a few things that need some attention. The place needs an entire facelift. Layout is perfect, but entire place is very dated. And dated doesn’t feel clean. To me it shows 1000s of other people wearing out common used items, like carpets and couches and pillows. When you think about how gross some people can be…it makes me cringe. We had a used glass outside our door at checkin and it’s still there (I’m currently checked in). I have no conditioner or body wash in my shower, which isn’t a huge deal, except when you chose a hotel that says they provide it so you don’t pack any and only discover there is none available when you’re actually in the shower. The shower head is about to fall off I think. It is locked onto on one setting so it sprays weird and is whole head is loose. I had to tighten it. Our TV wasn’t working when we got here. No biggie, the wonderful staff sent someone right away to look at it. The mattress is very old or very cheap. And the bed covers were well used and frayed and snagged. All things that aren’t a huge deal, but makes ppl wonder about the cleanliness of the place and how relaxed ppl can feel in their rooms.||It’s the small things that add up that make this place not the 5 stars it deserves. I travel with my family from north to south twice a year and will pray that it gets some updates and deep cleaning so we can stay again. It really does deserve 5 stars. And the staff are wonderful!
