Hotel schnell vom Flughafen erreichbar.
Recht große, aber dunkle und laute Zimmer, Klimaanlage nervig, Lüfter auf dem WC ohrenbetäubend. Zimmerreinigung wohl nur alle zwei Tage.
Parkgebühren sind völlig überzogen
Frühstück: Eier, ungesundes Weißbrot, mehr Eier, Frikadellen, nochmal Eier, Hackröllchen, etwas Obst (nicht Diabetiker-gerecht), etwas Cerealien (wohl alle mit Zucker), keine Wurst und kein Käse. Gesund ist das nicht! Man sucht vergebens: Gemüse (Rohkost oder gedünstet, z.B. Tomaten, Gurken, Paprika-Sticks) und eine gesunde vielfältigere Obstauswahl (Orangen, Bananen und die allseits üblich billigen Melonen sind ein Witz). Und alles ist mit viel Plastik. Nachhaltigkeit sieht anders aus.
WLAN: Das Standard WLAN ist viel zu langsam und nötigt einen zur Honor Mitgliedschaft. Ständige Abbrüche, so dass ich letztendlich über meine SIM-Karte arbeiten musste. Das Premium-WLAN ist nicht viel besser und in den oberen Stockwerken gar nicht verfügbar. Ein Treppenwitz!
Bei einem Stromausfall im Zimmer ist kein Servicetechniker erreichbar, der es kurzfristig richtet (was 10 Sekunden Arbeit ist). Sicherungen nicht auf dem Zimmer. Der notwendige Zimmerwechsel musste mit Taschenlampen erfolgen, weil es stockduster war. Da der Fisch grundsätzlich vom Kopf her stinkt, werfe ich dem Management vor, hier ganz bewusst an der falschen Stelle gespart zu haben. Leute, so was geht gar nicht! Die arme Frau, die alleine an dem Abend an der Rezeption Dienst machte, wurde in kalte Wasser geworfen und konnte gar nichts machen (sie hat erfolglos versucht, jemanden zu erreichen), war aber trotz der fatalen Situation äußerst freundlich und professionell. Die Chefs haben hier kläglich versagt! Die Investition in eine Rufbereitschaft ist dringend geboten!
Front Desk völlig unfähig: Auskünfte über ÖPNV nicht zu erhalten, andere Fragen werden falsch oder gar nicht beantwortet. Ich werfe dies erneut dem Management vor: Schult eure Leute richtig, und holt euch Personal rein, das ein bisschen Schulbildung und allgemeines Interesse an den Themen hat, die einen Gast umtreiben.
Das Ausstellen einer Hotelrechnung gemäß deutschem Steuerrecht war eine
Herausforderung für den Front Desk.

Fazit: Viel zu teuer, Preis-Leistung in keinem Verhältnis.

Aufgrund einer unplanmäßigen Nacht haben wir kurfristig ein Hotel in der Nähe des Flughafen Washington/Dulles gesucht und sind hier fündig geworden. Am Flughafen mit Laptop über WLAN zu einem - wie ich finde - guten Preis (84 Dollar inkl Taxen) gebucht und 20 Minuten später schon im gratis Flughafenshuttle zum Hotel gesessen.||||Das Zimmer hat uns dann mehr als nur überrascht, es war eine zwei Zimmer Suite, also getrenntes "Wohnzimmer" und Schlafzimmer, in jedem Zimmer ein Flachbildfernseher mit genügend Kanälen. Da unser Gepäck im Gegensatz zu uns IAD schon verlassen hatte, waren wir sehr erfreut dass wir das nötigste wie Zahnbürsten, Duschgels, Rasierer etc vom Hotel zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen haben.||||Am Abend gab es dann noch eine "Evening Manager's Reception" - sprich gratis Getränke und Snacks im Atrium bzw an der Bar. Frühstück am nächsten Tag war ebenfalls im Preis inkludiert.||||Eigentlich hätten wir diese Nacht ja schon in Florida sein sollen, aber das Hotel und die Mitarbeiter haben es auf jeden Fall geschafft, dass die Nacht so angenehm wie möglich war.

Definitely had a good stay at this hotel.
Though I would recommend ear plugs - as I would recommend when staying at any hotel.
The employees were AWESOME and VERY helpful during the snow storm that was on 01-06-2025. Usually check-in is not until 3PM. They worked with me to get me checked in before that since I was stranded. Don't know how often they have the rooms available, though I think they will always help you if they can.
They were also very friendly.
The breakfast was good and they do not charge you. Though I had a few dollars to add to the tip container where they have the hot food because I think the crew there works hard getting everything going, keeping it filled, making custom items, etc..
Would also mention that the certificates with the elevators expired on 05-31-2023. Don't know if the actual certification has expired that long.
Though nice hotel and would recommend it.

This place is super fantastic. Amazing breakfast.. manager reception...the staff is top notch, rooms super clean, and location is fantastic. What more could one want? We have stayed here half a dozen times and it has always been great.

Positive: Recent remodel is very nice. Room was beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. Staff were very efficient, courteous and responsive. Negative: There were a few relatively minor maintenance issues I reported to guest services. Aside from that it was a great stay.

Disappointing Stay – Needs Serious Improvement

I’ve always had great experiences with Embassy Suites at other locations, but my stay at the Dulles North Loudoun location was a huge disappointment.

The issues started right at the front desk. The staff was unfriendly, and to make matters worse, the receptionist tried to charge me twice due to her lack of attention to detail. Not a great first impression.

When we got to the room, it was clear cleanliness was not a priority. The carpet was dirty, and, shockingly, we found a glass shard in the carpet. This was not only unacceptable but dangerous—it could have seriously hurt someone. It’s clear the carpet wasn’t cleaned properly.

The bathroom wasn’t any better. Both the shower gel and shampoo bottles were completely empty. If housekeeping is cleaning the rooms, how could they miss that?

This experience was far below the standard I’ve come to expect from Embassy Suites. It’s disappointing because I’ve always had wonderful stays at other locations. This property desperately needs management attention to improve cleanliness, service, and overall quality.

Second time staying at this hotel. First experience was ok. This experience was terrible. The hotel itself is in a great location and the rooms are spacious. However, we arrived to a broken refrigerator, which they took away and "repaired" only for it to break again a couple of hours later. We requested sheets for the pull out couch, which were never delivered. There were people in the lobby and in the hallways until 2am being loud. There were holes in the walls that had not been repaired. It just didnt feel well maintained. With all of the other options in the area, I would look elsewhere.

We stayed here in February and everything was perfect. It was still a decent stay this time, but they are slipping a bit. I am not overly surprised given the adjoining Homewood Suites is a run down dump and I think there is overlapping staff. They did a wonderful renovation on the Embassy Suites side, but they are still running it a bit like a Motel6. Still lots good here, but they need to step it up and stop the decline before they ruin all the hard work put in to make this a beautiful place to stay.||The lobby is great. The breakfast is fantastic! I enjoyed a MTO egg white omelet and fresh fruit. PLEASE put a Venmo QR for your omelet maker. He does a wonderful job, but there is only a glass box for cash tips. I never take my purse to a hotel lobby for breakfast and almost never have cash. In this case, I did have cash in the room, but no small bills. I had planned to stop by the front desk later to get change to tip the man, but when I came back down, the breakfast area was locked up...and I do not even know if the front desk would've been able to make change for me. He would get a lot more tips if we could Venmo or Paypal him...and he deserves it!||The room was clean and comfortable with lots of lighting options and usb ports. Our son was going to sleep on the pullout couch, but we found an opened plastic bag with a blanket and one pillow in it in the closet, no sheets and no idea if they were clean or used since the bag was open. The front desk did quickly deliver sheets.||The big complaint I have is that I had been trying to get assistance to set up a group room block for our stay. It was nearly impossible to get anyone to answer. I also left messages on the voicemail for the sales/events rep (Paige Holt) and she never returned the call. Needless to say, we were not able to get the block we needed. I remember last we came communication was poor, as well. I do like this hotel and the location is good for our group...but it is just incredibly hard to get booking assistance so I will likely use other hotels that make our booking very simple.
