I wish I could say something nice but other than a convenient location I got nothing.
I came for work and stayed three days. In that time my room was not clean. I used a hand towel to clean water from taking shower and it was black because they don’t mop. Under bed and furniture is gross.
“Breakfast” is watered down juices, toast, oatmeal and a waffle maker. It appears that homeless sit in lobby. Staff not helpful.
No in room coffee maker, mini fridge is disgusting as is microwave. Linens never changed. I had baby powder on floor from getting dressed that stayed there all during my stay as housekeeping does not walk around beds. Thank goodness I travel with cleaners cause who knows what was on desk.
I recommend staying anywhere else. It’s clear the owner here cares more about $ than guest comfort.
Thank God I was able to check out a day early.

As Days Inns go, this is one of the better I have stayed at. The staff very accommodating. I was here 2 1/2 months while working out of town and they were great. Lydia and Alejandra the best!!!

Remember, call me you get what you pay for in a day in is a day in not the Ritz Carlton.

My room was clean and the bed comfortable and it had a nice size TV

Shame on us for not reading reviews. It is all right there in the ones before mine. If you want to feel clean or safe do not stay here. People yelling at kids in the hallways during the first night. Second night and the fire alarm was set off. We evacuated after 10 p.m. (almost nobody else paid any attention whatsoever to the alarm). We sat in our vehicle until the fire trucks left. No explanation, no apology. Clearly status quo. The hallways reek of marijuana. Thankfully our room didn't, but I didn't want to set stuff on the floor. It is loud because of hard flooring vs. carpeting in the rooms and hallways. Just spend the extra money and go elsewhere. We talked about driving home late at night after the fire alarm. Total eye roll.

Let's start with the breakfast! Horrible!!! It should be called a bread breakfast because all u have is bread no meat , toast, waffles, one cereal of there choice which was raisin brand for two weeks juice and coffee that's it that's ALL. My room was clean. Not the best but not the worst. Here for work so my choices was limited close to the job . Ms Lydia the manager is real nice and try her best to fix any problem you might have which is the ONLY star I can give the hotel .

ATTENTION

Stay at your own risk! Housekeeping will come in even when you have a ‘do not disturb’ sign and steal all your stuff! And when you go to the manager to get your stuff back or reimbursed they kick you out! Absolutely ridiculous this place is still in business. I know for a fact the company my husband works will never use them again. multiple guys have had issues with this hotel and they have never had issues anywhere like this EVER! Enjoy your slew of bad reviews from the rest of the crew that is staying there!

NIGHT SHIFT WORKERS!
Save yourselves from this place. You will not sleep well. The cleaners will come into you room with the do not disturb tag on the door. Not once, not twice. But four times this happened to me. They are also very loud in the halfway. The room I stayed in was very dirty. Smelled very sour. Location doesnt suck. Would not recommend at all. Go to the ramada. You wont be disappointed.

Mon avis sur cet hôtel est pas mal négatif. Le prix est vraiment trop élevé pour le service offert. Le couloir est lamentable, le plancher est tout collant ! En arrivant dans la chambre, on sentait l'odeur de tabac. Le ménage était pas assez fait, on a trouvé des cheveux un peu partout. En plus, le quartier est vraiment safe du tout... Le seul point positif, c'est la piscine ! Je pense que j'ai vraiment choisi le mauvais hôtel pour notre arrêt à Chicago.

It seems like this is one of the rare hotels or living spaces close to the south side of Chicago. The Days Inn in Hammond, IN wasn't as bad as the reviews I had read prior. It was a clean environment, the check-in process was quick and easy and a hot breakfast of sausages and tater tots was available. The area looked somewhat shady but all in all, it was a safe environment. The only thing that bothered me was the smell of weed but that's not really the hotel's fault.
