We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel! The location is perfect, just steps from the central market square and a short walk to the vineyards. The hotel was spotless, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

I had a beautiful time at this marvelous Hotel. From the first moment on we felt very welcome and pampered. The area is stunning, great for hiking and the vineyards are so pretty. What a great location for a vacay! The rooms are charming, clean and the decor ist just beautiful. We had a great experience and have already planned to come back.Thank you!

Brand New boutique hotel in Nuernahr/Ahrwiller
Very pleasant stay with family while visiting Germany.
Clean and modern rooms (the hotel is brand new).
Located in a very pleasant region with good restaurants and amazing wineries, it is also close to Cologne, Bonn, Nurburgring and Mosell Valley.
Good breakfast buffet.
Convenient parking space available.
Staff is very friendly and attentive.
The only thing we missed is air conditioning. Even during our stay the weather didn’t demand AC, it si something a hotel at that level must have provide.

I ADORE the room I was in! Perfect tower bathroom and a flashy tub right in the bedroom. I was a bit late for I charged my car but the lovely and welcoming lady at the reception came back in and showed to me what is the loveliest and most romantic room in Ahrweiler. Thank you! Facilities include a wine bar and an excellent breakfast buffet

We stayed here for a night while visiting villages around Konigsfeld, Niederzissen and Kirchtroisdorf. The Italian staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the second floor and we found it clean, comfortable and spacious. Beware however that there is not a lift! The hotel had a lovely vibe, with a bar and restaurant on the ground floor. Breakfast was very good! The hotel car park is just opposite the front door, which is very handy. The hotel is located inside the old town walls, and we enjoyed a very pleasant walk around the cobbled streets after dinner.

My husband and I spontaneously booked this hotel after most hotels in the area were booked for a 4 day weekend. The hotel looks exactly as advertised and was fun and quirky. The parking is free and easily accessible and the rooms are quiet and well equipped (our room even had a small refrigerator which one rarely sees in European hotels). ||The only downside to our stay was the fact that we were there during the city's "Schützenfest" celebration and many people were celebrating late into the night at the hotel's restaurant and bar below. During the night we went downstairs to let the manager know that the party was too loud and although they tried their best to quiet the group down, it didn't do much. The celebration eventually ended, but we did feel as though the hotel guests should have taken precedence over the locals celebrating at the hotel as we were the ones who actually paid to stay there. ||The redeeming fact was that once the party quieted down, the hotel itself was peaceful and quiet - I am sure that outside of these one off festivities,the hotel is very quiet. In addition, as we went down to breakfast (which is also conveniently included in the room price and was a traditional German breakfast) the manager of the hotel came to us directly and apologized for the noise the night before. We appreciated it and would stay there again. ||Overall a nice experience in a good hotel.

We stayed 4 nights, room and service are excellent. Highly recommended, fantastic location only a minute walk to the Marktplatz.

The hotel is an part of an old burg or castle that was in ruins for years. It was interesting talking to locals who used to play in the ruins when they were kids. There has been a good deal of money sunk in the place, but the rooms are still a bit on the rustic side, but not overly so. Toiletries are not the best and there is not air conditioning, but I'm not sure a lot of the old town hotels have it. The rooms do not have numbers; they are named after knights. But what else would you expect from a hotel with knight's armour in the hallways. We stayed in the Arthur room, which looked just like the room on their website. Great location near the rail station and the heart of the old town. They also have a parking lot if you're driving. We loved this charming wine town and will be back a third time if we can. If so, we will likely stay here again. By the way, English is not widely spoken this town. But then again, isn't that what's traveling is all about?
