WHY is the refrigerator in the bathroom? the whole place smeĺs like wet crabs...the place is questionable all around, from the carpet to the haphazard "breakfast" selection in their bar ....but it's cheap? the front desk staff were very nice. it's fine....very odd, but not necessarily in a good way...so...if you just need to sleep ..meh....it will do.

The hotel and the service are pretty good. The room was clean as well as the shower. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for food. The location is the only issue. It’s nestled back off the road and it’s like a maze navigating to it. The hotel has a nice restaurant. Can’t remember but it was good.

So the hotel is pretty quiet in an easily accessible area with lots of stores and food close by. The hotel itself could probably use an overhaul, obvious repairs seen throughout, carpet could use a replacement, TVs are a bit dated. My door took multiple attempts to unlock (key worked, lock wouldn't open). The staff was very friendly, beds were comfortable, and the price was reasonable. I will say the breakfast was rough, eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal, coffee, some pastries.. none were exceptionally good or well laid out. The fruits were bad, literally a moldy apple on top. Seating is very limited. Wouldn't recommend it if you are expecting anything decent.

I am very mixed on this hotel.

Pros:

1.) The front desk was extremely nice.

2.) The beds were decently comfortable. My wife disagreed but I thought it was fine.

3.) The room was quiet

4.) The location is really good and accessible.

5.) They gave us a free bottle of sanitizer and had multiple sanitizer stations which is very appreciated ?

Cons:

1.) The room was not very clean. Found multiple hairs in the bathroom and overall didn't look like it was touched.

2.) The breakfast was the saddest thing I have ever seen. Nothing was stored correctly. The milk was in a bowl with ice and nothing was stored at the right temperature. Everything looked as if it had been sitting out for days. We didn't even take any of the free breakfast due to how sad it looked.

3.) The hotel had a terrible smell in the elevators. It smelled like damp mold.

The hotel is in a great location, close to restaurants and stores. The room, bathroom and linens were clean and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioner unit was not functioning properly. The fan continued to blow even after the unit was turned off. It triggered my husband sinuses all night and he didn't sleep well. The staff was friendly. I was fine until check out when I was charged a fee because we were accused of smoking in the room. I had to debate with management that we never smoked in the room. The manager went on to tell me the room smelled of marijuana and they found cigar packs in the trash. I explained that I didn't care what they found in the trash no smoking occured in the room. My husband smokes heavy and he smoked in his truck and our clothes may smell of smoke but if we smoked in the room you would have smelled it in the halls. The fact that I had to debate this and explain that I'm 49 and don't have to lie about smoking in a room was disturbing! I was refunded but the whole situation changed my mind about booking here ever again.

This is the second time myself and my boyfriend have stayed here and again a wonderful greeting from the front desk to eating at fireside restaurant, they do not disappoint. I do like our room very comfortable bed,great water pressure from our shower and we are on the sixth floor. We will be coming back again.

My husband and I were there on Friday, Sept. 10.
We absolutely do not understand the negative reviews about this place.
It is an older hotel but kept up nicely.
Check in staff was extremely friendly, professional and prompt.
Our room was clean, comfortable and the bathroom was spic and span. (my personal standard).
The reason for a 4 was the breakfast was nice, however could have been refreshed a bit sooner than was. Some hot things were quite cool and cold fruit all but gone and tepid. Not a huge deal at all. Staff members were more than happy to accommodate. As nearly everywhere, employees are stretched as they were not fully staffed.
We would definitely stay there again and recommend. Thanks very much.

The room, bed, pillows were so nice. Clean and comfortable had a good nite sleep. Very friendly. Thank you miss Shelly the scrambled eggs were so fluffy and good. Thank you steve for ride to Peterbilt enjoyed our time with you. To the owner. Thank you so much for taking care of broke down truckers. We really appreciated it. Would highly recommend this motel. Stay was great there is a Resturant there also fireside. Food and prices very good. Lots of food and shopping close by. Thank you all so much
