Sehr gutes Hotel, tolles Ambiente. Zimmer absolut top und sehr sauber.||Durch seine zentrale Lage kann man alles was man sehen will schnell erreichen.||Ein ganz besonders Erlebnis war ein Spiel der Texas Longhorns. Wie ein Volkfest.||Zum Schluss möchte ich mich beim superfreundlichen Personal bedanken.||Insbesondere bei Jamiliah, Vanessa und Viviana. Hier waren wir in sehr guten Händen.||Beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Austin kommt nur das InterContinental in Frage.

Disappointing and overpriced. We had a very nice welcome to this hotel and a great beginning of our stay on our first night. The next morning we encountered difficulties at breakfast that had already been paid for including very slow and rushed service (we were greeted by three people and were the only guests then another group came after we ordered), small portions of food and no one came to our table even as we finished our food and drinks. I've never thought I'd encounter a situation where I'd have to leave a zero tip. I complained politely at the desk but was offered no apology or solution for the major inconveniences. Also, the front desk manager this morning acted very dismissive and rushed as well. Also asked him about laundry facilities on the premises, as stated on Expedia, and he just said they're not responsible for information on Expedia and only have valet laundry services. So now we have to run around and find a laundromat.

Conclusively, we would recommend a hotel with a buffet style breakfast and better service. Unfortunately our booking is not refundable, otherwise we'd cut our stay short and move on to a different hotel. So we're here for 9 more nights. ?

Great experience. Really polite check in. The hotel was fairly empty so we got an upgrade to a bigger room! Location is great easily walkable to almost everywhere in the downtown area. Price was reasonable for the location.

Every year, we host an annual meeting at one of their meeting rooms. This year, Ghina with the catering team was AMAZING and was insanely accommodating for a last-minute change we sprung on them. Everyone involved at the hotel from the front desk to the catering staff were so incredibly pleasant to work with and made us feel at home. We're already looking forward to coming back next year!

Very spacious, comfortable, and attractive room. Conveniently located near many attractions. Courteous and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant and bar. Lots of charming lobby space.

We loved the hotel upon arrival! It’s beautiful and has a lot of charm. However, once we got to our room, the bathroom lights didn’t work. We told the bellhop and he said he would contact the engineer to have it fixed. That didn’t happen, but they finally cut on after pressing the button quite a few times. The restaurant downstairs “Roaring Fork” was delicious but we didn’t get to save our leftovers because we didn’t have a fridge, nor a microwave to heat them. Once we were finished with dinner, we wanted to spend some time in the hot tub, but it was out of order and the pool was freezing cold. We were charged double for parking because we have a truck. We made our complaints to front desk about it all, but all we received was attitude. As beautiful as this hotel is, we won’t be returning. We will find somewhere else to spend $200 a night that has the amenities we look for in a hotel.

Hotel was fine but the front desk staff were rude, unhelpful and lacked the skills to be effective in their role. While I recommend staying elsewhere, if you end up here make sure to lower your expectations regarding basic service such as a basic greeting when you arrive and be prepared to treated like a disruption rather than a paying guest.

Location, location, location sums up this place. You will overpay for your room here considering the dated condition of the room and lack of services, but you are paying for convenience. Bring your own shampoo and soap, because the provided shampoo barely made a lather. The breakfast cafe is painfully slow. An omelet in an empty cafe shouldn’t take 30 minutes, so skip it and go some place else and just grab and go something if you have a busy day. Not sure if all the hotels in downtown Austin are in this condition, but I have had better stays in far less expensive hotels.
