I went to Dr. Ho to help me with female hormone and other aging related issues in 2022. She is a cash only doctor and I spent almost $2,000 on her fees, testing, and supplements. After months of waiting for an appointment and months more of treatment that did nothing for me, Dr. Ho abandoned me as a patient.

She initially performed testing on me and requested bloodwork, then sold me various oral supplements as treatment. She asked me to stay on the supplements and follow up with her in three months. When the follow up appointment came, she had moved out of her office space so my evaluation was over the phone (audio only). At the end of our call she said she was perplexed that her treatment had not worked. She asked me to give her 3 days to review my file and she would call me back. Several days later her assistant emailed me a request to complete a short questionnaire. This surprised me because I had been expecting a call with Dr. Ho by then, and because I was being asked for information I already provided. But I completed it and waited to hear back about my appointment. Weeks later, I had not heard a word from her office. So I called and asked her receptionist why I wasn't contacted. Her response was "I don't know".

I have asked Dr. Ho to refund the money I paid her so I can afford another doctor. But she never responded. I filed a complaint with the Texas medical board. She denied to them that she had abandoned me. She may still be working remotely from somewhere, but she is definitely not in the office space on her website.
