One of the nicest places I've ever stayed at.
I travel all the time for work and the company doesn't book rooms like this. Close though.
I was here for a personal trip, so I decided to find the highest rated hotel in Brownwood. This is it!

The rooms were very clean and smelled good. Housekeeping pays attention to detail and it shows.
The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The room has a full sized microwave and a large refrigerator.

Breakfast was good. They have a very different menu than most places. You have healthier options instead of the usual powered eggs and floppy sausage like most hotels serve. The coffee was even good and tasted fresh.

The Internet was good enough to stream 1080p content. They do offer faster speeds for a price, which is kinda scammy. They have fiber with Frontier, so it's not like they are starving for bandwidth. It comes into the facility full speed and should be available to all. It's 2025!! This is the only negative thing I noticed.

I'm going to be a regular customer from now on. I had a great time staying here.

We loved our stay here! The rooms were clean, the kitchen was handy, and the breakfast bar was the best we've had at a hotel. Give Mikel a raise- he does a phenomenal job with the breakfast. ? Amazing food

Amazing Hotel in Brownwood, Texas. So happy we chose this Hotel while traveling to Stephenville. Clean rooms, amazing breakfast served by Chef Micheal who goes above and beyond to make your dining experience special. He is a one man army who caters to everyone with genuine care. It really made our stay here so much better. We will definitely come back.

Every one of the staff was so sweet and friendly and helpful. Micheal is a sweetheart during breakfast and greets you with a huge smile and offers up conversation if you feel like talking. The front desk staff was welcoming and laughed with us, and even one guy on our way out said we look nice ? Rooms are good, beds are comfy, and 10/10 AC.

This hotel is awesome, rooms very clean, well stocked and spacious rooms come with a full size refrigerator. Staff extremely friendly Two employees stans out the most they were a married couple by the name of Ann and Mikel. Mikel was over the hospitality and had one of the best free complimentary breakfast menu items.He was very professional in his position and went way above and beyond to ensure the quest were served and pleased..His wife Ann works the reservation check in desk. She had the perfect attitude for customer service. She was very helpful and friendly and able to solve any concerns or questions Her attitude was "quest comes first". Every employee we came in contact was phenomenal, with perfect attitudes willing to serve and accommodate our needs to assure our stay was an extraordinary one.I give this place a 10star. I will definitely be back and will recommend this hotel to all. Thank you, Becky patterson

We've stayed here twice in the last month and I'm sure we'll be back in the future. We expect to be coming back to visit Howard Payne University often. The hotel seems brand new. Everything is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Michael, who helps serve breakfast in the morning, goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has what they need. He went on a mission to find a specific kind of coffee creamer for a guest, and found it. That's the kind of service you might expect at a five star hotel, not at the free breakfast at the Home2Suites in Brownwood. The front desk staff was great too. ||I am a Hilton Honors member and typically only stay at Hilton hotels. In Brownwood, our choices are the Home2Suites or the Hampton Inn. The Home2Suites wins hands down. ||The mattresses are a little on the firm side for my taste, but not bad at all. The rooms are spacious and come with a full size fridge and mini-kitchen. It's not fancy, but it's clean, comfortable, and has a great staff.

Update: Management has been very pleasant and helpful in attempting to remedy the noise.

Overall a decent hotel, but don't stay here if you work night shift. Housekeepers bang doors shut non stop from 9 AM to mid afternoon. Other places I've stayed they wrap a towel around the part that catches the door to make sure it doesn't disturb guests. Not here. Management doesn't seem to care. Unfortunate, because otherwise it's fairly quiet in the room and a nice stay.

Also, smaller annoyance: no Hilton diamond parking spots unlike other Home2Suites I've frequented.
