Nach dem Check-In mussten wir das „Hotel“ sofort wieder verlassen, da die im Internet gezeigten Bilder das Hotel in einem ganz anderen Umfeld darstellen. Statt Idylle am See erlebten wir Autobahnrasthof. Wir haben uns sehr unsicher gefühlt. Auf den Schildern steht, dass keine Haftung für die Beschädigung oder den Diebstahl des Autos übernommen wird und dass wir das Fenster aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht vollständig öffnen dürfen.
Wir fordern eine vollständige Rückerstattung!

A cheap stay but nothing special. The staff were great but the room was tired. No food options other than McDonald's and Costa at the time we arrived (post 7pm). Being dog friendly was a bonus. ||Overall I think a bit of a refresh is needed, not a terrible experience but could be better without too much effort.

just left today after a 2 day stay, the room has its ups and downs, very comfy beds and sofa! the bathroom felt not so cozy, and taps were a carry on to turn on/off, shower was easy to use and decent. nice food and lovely walk around the lake. would come again!

This hotel is listed as 3-star, but in reality, it’s more like a 0-1 star standard—so be warned. The property is extremely outdated, with smelly carpets, dim lighting (no central light in the room), scratched furniture, and locked balcony doors. The curtains didn’t fully cover the windows, and the bathtub was not cleaned properly—it even had hairs inside. Everything in the room was old and scratched, and the electric room heater made an intermittent buzzing noise.

The only positives were the excellent customer service when I booked over the phone and the receptionist, who was professional, kind, and patient and location. For that reason, I’d rate Service 5/5, location is convenient, so I’d give it a 5/5 for that however, the room deserves a 1/5 (or even 0).

Lovely staff, very basic room. Great Lake view. KiNG size bed is a plus. WiFi is absolutely laughable, unable to watch TV. No frills. No decaf tea or coffee. But I'd stay again. It was easy, very clean. Perfectly fine for somewhere to crash in the middle of a long journey.

Really helpful staff, a comfortable room, and a good location if you're traveling with a 4 pawed friend! ?|I recently completed a long trip to save from the western Isles of Scotland. I took a break at Annandale Water for both North and Southbound trips. The hotel is ideally situated for me on this loooong journey and on both visits the staff were helpful, the room was comfy for me, a very tired traveller, and it was also brilliant for Sid, my 4 pawed travelling companion who loved the walkie-walks around the lake and grounds. |Special shout out to Days Inn staff who re-scheduled my return stay after my ferry was cancelled at very short notice. |Thanks guys!! ?
