Hotel 116, a Coast Hotel - Bellevue, Washington

Wir hatten das Hotel für unsere letzte Nacht vor dem Heimflug gebucht. Gute Lage außerhalb Seattles direkt am Highway und damit leicht zu finden. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, wir hatten unseres mit Blick auf die Skyline von Bellevue. Außerdem gibt es kostenloses Frühstücksbuffet, das wirklich gute Auswahl bietet. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist top.

Ein schreckliches Hotel. Das Zimmer war dunkel, die Klimaanlage dreckig und das Bad ekelhaft. Alles wirkte arg runtergekommen. Auch das Frühstück ist alles andere als empfehlenswert.

Close to REI, HomeGoods, Trader Joe's, and HomeGoods. Rooms have been updated but can still tell fixtures and other misc things (like the TV guide system) are quite dated. AC/heater could be quieter but it's fine.
But overall still very clean and well kept, comfy bed. Attached to Woods Coffee, good coffee option just downstairs.

I chose Hotel 116 due to it's location, great reviews and decent price. I was having an eye surgery just 5 minutes away, there's an awesome coffee place - the Woods - right next door, the room was clean comfortable and modern, and the staff friendly and helpful. They made my experience enjoyable and I had a great sleep! The location, right off the highway, was convenient, yet surprisingly quiet. I highly recommend this hotel...as well as the Woods!

Positive: there was really nothing that was good about the stay Negative: was not able to sleep in the room due to the smell of cat/dog pee. My husband had to sleep in our car for most the night due to the smell. We endded up having to by a candle so the smell was not as bad but made both us very ill.

We stayed here because it is very close to Overlake hospital and my wife had early surgery scheduled. The good news is they give a very big discount for this. Our one night there was OK but not great. We wanted to spend the evening watching the Olympics. Sadly the tv did not get any local stations only cable networks. Do no Olympics. Also the small fridge was very loud when it came on during the night emitting a very loud high pitched sound for several minutes. This kept waking us up over and over all night. Other than that it was fine. Clean and comfortable.

If you value your security and safety, AVOID this hotel at ALL COSTS. We checked in late at night, they couldn’t find our reservation. As it turns out, someone had already checked in under my reservation. The front desk attendant called the guest at 10:30 pm while they were sleeping, proceeded with the call on speakerphone for all to hear in the lobby (there was a line of 4 guests behind me), asking the sleepy guest to confirm their personal information. Extremely unprofessional.

They managed to find us a different room and did offer a preferred rate, however the room was a downgrade size-wise. As they handed us our key and exclaimed the room number OUT LOUD, they then asked us to “please check if the room had been cleaned, and then return to the front desk to finalize the check in.” Appalled, we approached the room, only to hear OTHER GUESTS WERE CHECKED IN THAT ROOM. We promptly returned the key and left the premises.

TLDR: do not stay here. The staff is unprofessional, asking guests to perform their jobs, and security is compromised.

There are a stack of minor grievances about this place but overall, the hotel is fine.

The staff is helpful and courteous. The location is right next to a highway and large shopping center but still quiet.

However, the rooms are very dated and the layouts are silly. Carpets on every floor and every hall need to be replaced.

The beds are comfortable but the desk chair is not and the lack of outlets near where you would be working are frustrating.

Last complaint is the driving area right in front of the doors is where EVERYONE has to go/line up for Woods Coffee, and people don’t really drive carefully.

I’d stay here again but it wouldn’t be my first choice.
