We stayed 2 weekday nights in this hotel located at a busy intersection. Rooms have exterior doors. The room was adequately supplied, all the lights worked, bed was relatively comfortable. An older hotel that has been painted and kept in decent shape. Coffee pot, fridge, t.v. worked. Small table with 2 straight chairs, ironing board, hangers, blow dryer. |The room did smell damp/moldy. We met the friendly owner who was directing workers in one of the rooms. They are in the process of removing the carpet in the rooms and replacing with hard surfacing. I believe this will help eliminate the musty smell.|There was a small dining area where breakfast options were limited to cereal, oats, packaged buns, coffee/tea, frozen waffles. There was a microwave. The juice dispenser was out of order. |Free shuttle to medical centers in the area. Must be reserved at least 1 hour ahead of time.|A good lower priced place to stay. Convenient location. Gated lot with one way in and out but easily navigated once you figure it out. If you have mold allergies/issues I would try to reserve a room that has had carpet replaced. Not sure about safety of area but we had no problems.

They always take care of us. We have been coming here since 2014. They have always had us a room where and when we needed. Older hotel but it is very clean. Always! As long as we have to come to MD ANDERSON we will stay here! Love the girl at the front desk that takes care of us!

Water is hot and the fridge is cold. The lights, AC, & locks work. It's conveniently located next to plenty of food and shopping, and NRG stadium. It's checks all the boxes possible at this price point. Even allowed me to check-in crazy early at no charge.

Unacceptable behavior roaches everywhere sometimes people just don't give a damn and you do anything wrong and they blame you for everything that everybody else did now they're blaming me and want me to leave because I allowed someone to come by and say hi that lived here for 2 months during FEMA lunacy you're better off going to academy and buying a tent

10/10 would stay again. Amazing choice for the price point. By no means luxury but the next best thing! VERY CLEAN, comfortable beds. Tv and shower worked great. Comes with shampoo/lotion/soap. Service was friendly and efficient! You can tell it’s family owned and they all really care. Great location as well. Walkable distance to NRG stadium. Very close to medical district and museums.

We had booked another hotel months in advance because we were showing our animals at the stock show. We are from Dallas the very day that our reservation was to be the other hotel called 20 minutes before we got to our room and said they had canceled our reservation because there was no rooms available.We went and checked to see if America’s best value inn had any rooms available. The guy front desk was very helpful. He checked to see if he had a room on the first floor mind you because I have bad knees, and was able to get me in there for the two days and a great price. I know some people would be leery because of where the hotels at but it was very nice and quiet. The owners were great to us to be honest, will be staying there every year we show at the rodeo from now on.I would suggest if you’re looking for a great priced hotel near the stadium and when people that actually care about their customers, give them a call.
