Working with Sara, was such a pleasure. She really went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. We will be back with more events!

Not impressed. I usually don’t do this, but the only reason they don’t get zero stars is the building. The service was awful. The prices were inflated and the food was sub par. The wine and drinks we ordered had not showed up 30 minutes later, when we were asked for our food order. The excuse on the delay was that they “could not find the wine”. But would not discuss the fact that perhaps we just order another. The apps were ok, but the steak frites were not cooked. I should not have ordered the duck, but figured it would be good at such a place. Wrong!!
If you just go for a drink at the bar and a steak sandwich at the bar, it’s probably fine. But there are FAR too many better options in North Jersey. Especially for the price.

My experience with my family at the Inn was less then what I expected from the staff. We ordered 2 Salmon, 1 burger and an Octopus appetizer that I was going to have as my entree. When the food was served everything came out correctly except for the Octopus. They served me a sandwich, not Octopus! I waited at least 20 minutes to get served my correct entree. No one came out to apologize until I asked to speak to a manager. The manager offered no compensation for their error and was very rude and told me that I was trying to “TAKE ADVANTAGE “ of the restaurant. I have been going to this restaurant for over 50 years and never had any issues. I will not be going back and will not recommend it to anyone.

My wife and I come here often, maybe once a month or every other month. Excellent food and drinks. Very nice atmosphere. I recommend making a reservation but you can do it ‘same day.’ Definitely a staple in our area. Try the old-fashioned or manhattan. I’m a novice and trying to replicate them at home.

We just visited for Mother’s Day and unimpressed is the only way to describe our experience. The valet was strangely setup with unfriendly staff, getting to our reserved table was an absolute mess, and no one seemed to know what was going on. I will say, however, that some customers were flat out rude to the staff right off the bat because of a reservation mixup.

The biggest disappointment was the food. I asked for a minor change to my original meal (sunny side up egg to a fried egg) and the kitchen said no, so I decided on something else. I was shocked to say the least when I ordered the American breakfast for $20 (!!!) and was presented with what could’ve been a kids meal. The pancakes were cold and they literally cut up one strawberry and threw it on top of a few pieces of arugula. The picture was the plate of food before I even touched it. It was very disappointing. Plus, we were told we had 2 hours before the next table was coming in, totally fine and more than reasonable, except we were asked 4+ times if they could clear our plates before we even hit 45min.

This restaurant has been around for a really long time and I’d always been interested in trying it out. Unfortunately, this was my first and last time.

Food is absolutely divine. Everytime. All dishes are prepared with care and attention to detail. The staff exhibits the same level of care and attention to detail for the customer as the chef does with each dish. Each plate has it's unique taste. This is a go to place for special occasions as each visit is memorable.

From start to finish, it was a pleasant time. Immediately sat at our table, water within minutes and food orders placed not too long after. We ordered a cocktail and a beer that's named after the establishment. Asian salmon burger was exquisite and unique from any I've had before. If the afternoon wasn't already excellent, the Yelp app granted us a free dessert with a purchase of an entree. A few moments after the dessert was finished, the check was placed, the card given, and the receipt signed. Thank you to the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern for a memorable brunch experience.

Just had my daughter's surprise bridal shower here. Sara was a pleasure to deal with when booking the event and keeping all the details straight. Winnie, our lead server, was attentive and so helpful. The food was abundant and delicious. Every single server there was a delight to deal with. And the hostess was very kind and helped keep our secret right up to my daughter arriving in the room. I would highly recommend this venue for a private event. The staff was very accommodating and we loved everything!
